Not sure I agree with everything but you absolutely nailed the point ish can't admit they're wrong. They just pile up the excuses. They realize Atlanta is a contender but just don't wanna admit they were wrong. Atlanta could have stated 20-0 and we would have heard the same "lolz it's hawx so mediocre". People here just have their agenda and they never let it go.

Saying the Hawks have been irrelevant over long stretch of time is a stretch. They've legit had good teams (borderline top 10 if not secure top 8-10) in the late 90's and late 00/early 00's. In fact going forward they might be one of the better teams for the next few years in the east.

Not everybody is going to be a contender year in and out but Hawks have done a fine job. Its not like they;ve been the Sixers, Bucks, Knicks, Raptors, Hornets, Wiz, etc. they actually put good products on the court consistently
