- amazing coach (compared to McHale and Scott)
- amazing ball movement and team basketball

At worst he's a replacement for Ginobli down the line as a 6th man/scorer role player

At best he's the next franchise PG

He's to stupid to play in that system, Pop would never accept him and he will retire before Lin ever plays for him.

He should just go to which ever team Mike D'Antoni is coaching.

:oldlol:

Parker, Patty, CoJo, Manu, Green, Marco are all literally twice as effective as Lin.

He'd probably get a minute or two more than Daye though.

Parker and Manu are gonna need less minutes as the seasons progress, especially Manu.

3 years from now with Pop coaching who knows how good he could be.

The Lakers and Kobe ball are terrible for Lin's game

This. Are there any other active head coaches in NBA that runs similar basketball style to D'Antoni?

Pops and Parker have moulded Joseph into a very efficient and effective player, I can see him taking over for Parker as a natural slow move over the next few of years.

He's averaging 9.3/2.6/2.9, over 50% from the field and 0.9 turnovers in 22 mpg. He is playing exactly the way Pops likes and doesn't turn 24 until the off season.

The track record in San Antonio is pretty clear, the develop their rotation players into starters and I don't see this situation being much different... Parker has clearly fallen off a bit, Joseph has picked up those extra minutes and hasn't let Pops down.

I never would've praised the Lin move if I knew his stans were so blind to his ineffectiveness. He got benched for Ronnie Price for ****s sake. Who is FAR from a good PG.

Playing like garbage = leading the Spurs in PPG, APG, 3P%, and shooting better than Kawhi, Duncan, Green, Diaw, way better than Ginobili, etc. and not leading the team in MPG and playing through injury.

Where does that leave the REST of the team?!

Nothing against the guy but there's nothing amazing about Jeremy Lin's game. Wrong term to be using in relation.

Saying that he's shooting better than xxx is misleading as he's shooting worse than Cory Joseph, Baynes, Splitter and Ayres - does that mean that they are playing better than Parker? Duncan's averaging 1 point less than TP with 10.8 rebounds. Leonard's averaging .8 points less than TP with 7.6 rebs and 2 steals. Both are way more important to the defense than Parker. And he's playing more minutes than everyone except Leonard.

Seeing as Parker is the highest paid Spur, shouldn't we expect the de facto Spur representative at the All-Star game to be performing well? Spurs defense has been top-notch this year (3rd in opponents pts/game and 3rd in DRtg) - they've (Duncan, Leonard, Green) held the fort while it's the offense that's suffered (15th in points/game and 11th in ORtg). This latter is in some part because of Parker's lackluster play. True, his 3PT% is outstanding this year, but is that what we want out of Parker? There are many others on the Spurs who can shoot the three. Where's the driving that they need - that aspect has been subpar.

If he's injured, than he needs to sit.

You do understand that you are talking about a coach who glorified Bruce Bowen right.

Bowen was a MAJOR part of the 3 championships. He guarded the best perimeter player, led the league in 3pt shooting one year and was an ironman (never injured). Replaced by that pos Richard Jefferson - what a difference.

How dare you. 3rd best player on a title team deserves some respect.
