Lance for Lin???

Lance is not worth the money he's getting paid. I think we could use a player like him on the Lakers right now, but we could use Lin as well.

I'd consider moving Nash for Lance, though.

Charlotte, Indiana had preliminary conversations on possible return of Lance Stephenson, but talks haven't gone far, sources tell Yahoo.

It would be amazing if the Lakers got 2 1st round picks (1st from HOU, 1st from CHA) + Lance Stephenson by taking on Lin's salary and then moving him :oldlol:

There's no way Hornets would be stupid enough to do this, though.

Lance isn't the type of player that is going to change the face of a franchise and he's not going to ever be a guy with glamorous stat lines. He is a dirty work kind of player though and does have a skill set that goes beyond what you would see in a typical box score.

He's much better suited as a compliment player on an already good team, rather than a signing looked at to improve a crappy team.

He would fit in somewhere that might be a player or two away from reaching the next level.

I think he has the perfect mentality to play in OKC with Russ & KD. Russ would probably have a great effect on him.

Honestly, I hope it happens. Only dude that can keep that retard somewhat under control is Bird. It'd be sick to see that Indiana crew back together and healthy.

Both teams would benefit. And Hornets would finally get Kobe.

Some reports that I am hearing are that the Nets and Hornets are discussing a Brook for Lance swap as the main centerpieces. I don't really want Lance but I have wanted Brook traded for at least two years. He is one dimensional and his lack of rebounding, passing and defense have caused the Nets to less utilize their potent guard players. He is a terrific person and a very good scorer in this league. Lance would be a good addition but what we really need is defense and rebounding.

I doubt Doc gives up JJ since he views his off-ball movement and spacing as necessary for this offense. My guess is Barnes + Hawes based packages for Lance + bench big. Maybe Bullock thrown in? Doubt Charlotte gives up a first in any trade that doesn't involve a star.
