Isnt it obvious? We have a sick culture. Our cops murder a lot of people, but so do the citizens. Look at that prison statistic. We are diseased, culturally.

We look at other people like they arent human. The most important thing is your own position of power. If you have power, you are rewarded by using it to your advantage. If you have money, flaunt it. **** bitches. Be rude to people who are beneath you. Who cares?

Everything is very me centered, but in this twisted evil way. Im big on individuality and personal freedom (and blah blah blah), but things like compassion and sensitivity are seen as weaknesses here. Things that are actually smart, like admitting when you are wrong, are seen as weaknesses. Questioning established wisdom is crazy, and weird. Being humble gets you taken advantage of. Nice guys finish last. Thats the culture.

So cops, what do they care? They are above the law. They are not to be questioned. They symbolically represent freedom and justice. If you do not submit completely, you are an enemy.

I was stopped by cops a few weeks ago and had my car searched. I was nice the whole time, cop was a complete dick to me. Threw things all around in my car. Patted me down. When that cop is with his friends he is probably a cool guy. But I imagine im not human to him, I am a potential threat. I am a target for his power.

In any event, there are still many cool and understanding people in America. I think Im one of them for the most part, on my good days. I know a lot of good people. But whenever Ive been in corporate America, it is always shitty politics and games. Most people in power are psycho about it, even just managers at run-of-the-mill businesses. I dont know man, its weird. I dont know many cultures outside of here, but I cant imagine this is the way a healthy culture looks.

um, SoCal is home to corruption. LAPD wrote the book on abusing power. Cali politicians get rich like no other. This probably the only state that absolutely should not be in debt yet we are amongst the worst. In SoCal you can get away with almost anything if you have money. I grew up here as well. Cali is also low key one of the most racist and segregated places to live.

But regarding why USA has more police killing, obviously because many of the criminals are armed so police shoot to kill. In other countries they can do warning shots or shoot the leg or even use rubber bullets since guns are illegal.

Simple explanation.
