With a win @ Sacramento who will not have Cousins available. So much for missing/struggling to make the playoffs, this team will be winning the division at the rate they're going.

BTW after they win tonight
OKC without Durant 5-12
OKC with Durant 7-1

MVP :pimp:

7-1 with Durant and they lose the one game I bet on.

The way I look at it the top 8 are set in the West (Once OKC jumps into 8th) unless one team literally loses 2 or 3 of it's best players. The Thunder I think will probably surpass whoever is the 6th/7th seed as well.

I can't see the Suns/Pelicans/Kings challenging any of the top 8 they simply don't have the talent to compete in the West with those teams fully healthy.

You do realize Durant averaged 30/9/4 in last years playoffs, right?

They were not going to make the playoffs anyway, might as well give up already.

And the "experts" was suggesting awhile back that The Thunder wouldn't make the playoffs. They'll be in 8th seed before Christmas.

Coincides with Westbrook taking over the 1st option duties. We all know Durant can't dominate for a season + playoffs. He had an all-time regular season and guess what, he wore down in the playoffs, getting pushed around by Tony Allen and a huge unforced turnover in an elimination game against the Spurs. Westbrook has the body, the endurance, both physical and mental strength to do it for a season + playoffs. He will never wear down. The only thing that can stop him is injury... and his shot selection :oldlol:

12-13 and in the playoffs? The West is so weak. :facepalm

Funny how this is the narrative that was supposed to define their season and now they are already going to be the 8th seed :oldlol:

That will only be temporary...now that OKC is hitting their stride, they will catch up with the other top-7 and be 9 games over .500 in no time with the rest of the West. If the West keeps this up (.680 clip), that's 56 wins as an 8th seed. The West is unbelievably stacked.

Meanwhile, if the East keeps up their pace, it will be yet ANOTHER year of the 38-win playoff team.

I know you're trolling, but I'll bite anyway.

The East has an 11-13 and 10-12 team in the playoffs now.

The best team in the East would be a five seed in the West.

Go back to bed.
