Wade has had a career with plenty of injuries and spent 3 years in college, with an extra year ineligible. Durant spent one year in college and was a young dude with a scoring mentality and great shot to match. Makes sense.

What's with all the random Wade hate tonight from a certain fanbase? :confusedshrug:

Anyway, why would a guy be penalized for chronic injuries and not reaching longevity milestones set by the best scorer the league has seen in almost 2 decades?

Prime Wade > Prime Durant

Who cares? So Wade missed some regular season games and started 3 years older than KD (Wade started at 22, KD at 19)

KD's good for 3 more PPG, 2 more RPG, but 2.5 less APG. Wade's career numbers still are close to Durants

Slayed.

Comparing players by age is the dumbest thing ever when one player spent more years in college.

And I like Durant more than wade.

Stupidest thing ever. Shows extremely low knowledge of the game.

Like saying by age 22 nerleans Noel will have "x" amount more points than David Robinson.

Durant came into the league younger, better scorer, and more durable. Not really surprising.

First off that's like 1.5 seasons worth of points. Considering Wade only came into the league 4 seasons before Durant and missed a lot more games it's really not surprising at all.

So is that what ISH has stooped to? Kobe's Lakers are shit, so now it's the norm to celebrate empty stats over actual accomplishments?

I guess Malone > Duncan now?

Skip right over those post and respond with this. It is probably a smart move on your part to act like you didn't see those posts after saying something so moronic I suppose.

By the end of 2015, if he averages 70 games this year and next and 20 ppg, (very conservative projection) Wade will easily go over 20,000 pts. His assists should easily top 5,000 too.

These are two key benchmarks because it will be impossible to compare the Drexler-types of the world to him by then. Drexler will have only played two more years, his career totals aren't that much higher, and Wade's per game averages kill him (Wade's still over 24; Drexler is under 21).

It's over, haters. Wade will retire as no worse than the 4th best SG ever. Choke on it.

If he was given any kind of fair consideration, it'd be top 20. The first game I watched was the Game 7 of the 1980 finals. I've seen every player since then. And there aren't 15 that have been better since. And there weren't 5 that were better before.

By being the best player on the court?

I think you mean LeBron ruined his chance in 2011 to be considered in the same vein as the god you have crossed out on your avatar. Go jerk off to your LeBron app, Stan.

Game 7 ? I guess you meant 6 or the start of the Finals, but there was no game 7.

Why respond to dubeta other than reporting him? He's just a bran troll. Every post of his is to either: tear down his teammates, build up his conference, tear down the other conference, tear down Kobe (for what ever reason) or tear down older NBA eras (60s/whatnot).

Neg him and report him. Do not respond to him.

Idk, it is fascinating to try to see him spin the 2011 Finals loss on someone besides LeBron

Durant will likely double wades total.. has nothing to do with age bruh.

Wades a great 'peak' player.. one of the best ever.. but his totals and accolades will be behind guys like antwan jamison when its all said and done. Still top 20 all time despite.. but with good longevity hed have a case for much higher

Dwyane Wade was 21 when he came into the league. Durant was 19.

Wade has played a total of 736 games and is in his 12th season so far. Kevin Durant has played 550 and is currently in his 8th season.

Wade's career average is 24.2 ppg, while KD's is 27.3

That is why Durant is so close to Wade in points when there's a 7 year age difference between them. If Dwyane Wade never got hurt in his career, he'd have well over 20,000 career points right now. A lot of forget that Wade has never played a full season and there have been multiple times where he's played less than 60 games in his 12 year career.

I know. But original poast was typing about him being 33 and and Durant 26.

It's stupid comparing age when a player spends more time in college.

Like all the idiot comparisons with Kobe and MJ "at age 28,...." Blah blah blah when MJ spent three years in college.

It's just retOarded.

One thing I'll add is Wade's lack of longevity is extremely overblown. He's been injury prone, yes, but at 33 he's still playing at a very high level. He's completely transformed his game in a way many thought he couldn't. He scores almost exclusively from midrange and the post, rarely gets to the line, and is stll putting up 22ppg on 50%+ shooting. His career totals may end up being underwhelming compared to his per games averages, but he's still got some great basketball left in the tank.

Wade's played 737 games (entered the league at 21, turned 22 in January, KD has played 550 (turned 19 a month before he played his first game).

Durant is the better scorer for sure (though Wade is definitely underrated on this board), but why is this shocking? :confusedshrug:
