Shaq was THAT dominant during the 3-peat  Its really unfair to discredit Kobe so much because Kobe had a great series as well

Jordan and LeBron would win more rings, probably 6-7 each

Think about it, Shaq and Kobe only did a 3/8 after all, 3 rings in 8 years

Are you telling me Jordan or LeBron wont do more than that? 3/8 with Prime Shaq seriously?

An absence of this role might even be a benefit

First of all, shaq only scored in the first 40 minutes of the game; afterwards Kobe did all the scoring, because without someone like Kobe shaq chokes as he can't carry a team and his team ends up getting swept year after year after year. Second of all, shaqs averages went up in the finals because the competition in the east was weak year after year after year. So thanks to the triangle and the weak team shaqs stats get inflated; if he and the lakers had faced someone like the spurs, Kobe would have won finals mvp every year, because a little size is all that's needed to bother shaq and get him swept.

False. This depends on which version of Jordan but in his prime he would certainly be in the discussion or even the favorite for FMVP.

Jordan would be FMVP no matter what. he would always be the main man, not the sidekick. that's what separates Jordan from Kobe.

What if Jordan played with Bill Russell? :confusedshrug:

Nonsense. Jordan's Finals numbers were at least as good as Shaq's, and there's a VERY good chance that peak Jordan would average a line like 33+ pts/7 reb/9 ast/3 stl/1+ blk/53+% FG/62+% TS playing alongside Shaq. That would easily rival or exceed Shaq's Finals numbers. And on top of that, Jordan would be the one with all the big "moments."
