At what age did you start sleeping in your own room?

I was a late bloomer. Slept between mum and dad until I was 14, about to enter high school. Knowing that if anybody had found out, my high school experience would have been the worst, and I would most likely hang myself in the school washroom.

To start off, I started off sleeping with the light on, then with the lights off, but door open, then with the door closed, but with a nightlight on, then with the TV on on sleep mode, etc, gradually taking it step by step until I fully slept by my lonesome without any boundaries. I think I was about 16 or 17 when that happened.
