since coming back from injury...but, but...his body is done and his game was predicated on athleticism...but, but...he needs Lebron and without him his efficiency will fall dramatically...*looks at Lebrons shooting...looks at his teammates...looks at Wades shooting...looks at Wades teammates...* :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:

This also works as a great companion piece to my Kobe thread.

Damn, Spoelstra's offensive schemes have really juiced up Wade's FG% :lol

If by schemes you mean Wade's dominance in the post...then yes, exactly.

his numbers are very strong right now, no doubt....but is he truly dominant on the court, game changer etc?

He isn't the player he once was, but he is still probably the number 2 SG in the league after Harden. His midrange game is a hell of a lot more reliable, and his post game is more on point than usual this season.

I think given a decent big man who can rebound, he would perform well and possibly push the Heat to a decent playoff spot. A Tyson Chandler type player would make the Heat a top 3 seed, and Wade's impact on the game would be more visible.

Did the same for Lebron.

yeah, but Wade's last 10 games mean that this stretch goes back to May

you mean top 3 in the east.?
isnt this achievable with wade, bosh, deng, chalmers etc?

Wade's general approach to the game with his shot selection and craftiness will always have him as an efficient finisher. He could be playing with 4 midgets, and he'll still be shooting 48 to 50% from the field.

No. You have a bunch of pieces that don't fit together. There is no inside-out game. Wade is the main guy that gives us that possibility, and he isn't their the whole game since he is creating on the outside too, and he is too small and old to be crashing the boards and giving us second chances.

We are the worst rebounding team in the league I believe, and it is always going to be hard to win games, no matter how good you are, with poor rebounding. Trading Chalmers and McRoberts for a decent rebounder would immediately make this team better. Grabbing someone like Anthony Randolph would be nice.
