Finally, someone's listened to the fans in Detroit. Thanks, Tom Gores. (http://detroitsportsnation.com/detroit-nba/rake2204/pistons-plan-halftime-concerts/19744/)

Detroit as a city needs to be shut down.

Is he from a band? Maybe I know his group.80's hair band. Poison. He sang "Every Rose Has Its Thorn". Then he did a reality dating show in the 2000's. So, yeah, should be a huge draw amongst NBA fans.

AH Ok. I know Poison and that song. I guess we never got his reality show here so I've never seen him on his own. Pistons should be worried though, how will it look when the stadium is empty all game until the half time show. People will flock to see artists like this and then leave straight after. Sure they will make more on ticket sales but it will still look empty on telecasts that only show the NBA portion of the show.

Don't worry about it, Poison is one of the worst rock bands in history.

Halftime of a Pistons game is just about the worst possible environment to see a musical performance though. Terrible, terrible atmosphere in a cavernous, mostly disinterested environment.
