He shot 63% from the floor. It's not as if it was a chuck fest. He had a dynamic offensive game. Too bad nobody else on the team showed up.

Should go for 50 against the Cavs. With the fact that they just gave up 130 to the Hawks, Miami should get plenty of open looks.

Imagine that. LeBron's first game back in Miami and Wade drops 50 on em.

Weren't you saying Wade would have a significant drop in fg% without LeBron? Since it hasn't happened, I love how you conveniently change your stance to "his fg% is overrated".

This is literally the first time in the last 3 years Wade has gotten more than 15 FTs let alone 21. Don't know why a facepalm was necessary.

When has this dude ever scored more than 40 points with less than 20 free throws?

It's the 06 finals all over again.

Wade has done it 35 times (Bron-60, Kobe-120, Jordan-195, Durant-43)

He would get those kind of points when he is shooting 20 FT P/G like he did when Stern fixed the 06 final for him.

You act as if he didn't suffer some major injuries during the middle of his prime and as a result of those injuries his knees have never been the same as its gotten worse as he's gotten older.

Meanwhile, in a conference far away, some "superstar" would need 40 shot attempts AND 15 FT's to get to 40.

Yes, tis ridiculous, he was fouled loads because the Jazz have plenty of inexperience to take advantage of. I wonder how many guys have shot 21 FTs in a game since Wade last did so, i bet it's a fair few, Harden's probably done it a dozen times. He did also shoot 3-4 technical fts this game (see how guys you regularly shoot technicals get a stat boost).

Cole, Napier, Haslem, Rio, Williams, Ennis, Andersen, and Deng. This team sucks ass. Probably worse than the '09 Heat and that team had peak Wade. Wade could've scored 60+ and the Heat would've still lost the game.

definitely not worse than the 09 team...Wade and Bosh alone put them ahead of that squad. Bosh is out so of course the overall offense is going to come up short, exactly what we saw last night.

I just hope this team doesn't look like an east coast Lakers squad...one player with all the point and shots, and a blowout by the other team to seal it. that's a dagger to me

Without Bosh, this team is arguably worse than the '09 Heat. '09 Wade > Current Bosh + Wade.

Well, Wade too 27% of the available shots. Rio took 19% of the shots and scored 11. Wade should've taken more shots though.

This team is flat out garbage. I hope Pat trades Rio. Love Haslem and what he did for the Heat, but the dude is done. Cole sucks as well.

Nah, the 09 team was horrific, rookie Chalmers and Beaseley were two of our best players, JO's cadaver was our second option :facepalm

put this Wade on that team they don't win 30 games,09 Wade was just so BEASTLY, didn't have to pick his spots and play deliberately like he does now just straight domination.

That was my point. Without Bosh, the '09 Heat > '15 Heat. '09 Wade > Current Bosh + Current Wade. He was that good.

Do Laker fans not realize that Kobe has a 7.6fta career average and 3 seasons with 10 or more fta's? Dwyane Wade is possibly the greatest slashing guard in the history of the league with his combined athleticism, ball handling, and finishing ability...so why are people surprised that he went to the ft line so much? Btw...Wade's career fta is 8.3...so...8.3 to 7.6...wow what a difference. Considering one guy settled for jump shots way more this is pretty damn close...

It's pretty hilarious how one fanbase to raise up their player can bring up an aspect of the game that is separated by .7. Whats even more hilarious? A crippled Kobe Bryant is averaging the most ft's since he was 29 years old...sounds a lot like MJ in 98 when he was on the way out and got every call.
