The ringless MVP has just had excuse after excuse made for him. The now 26 year old has had his fair share of chokes, now is the time for him to step up and get his chip. Both Jordan and James won their first championship at age 27. Durant has had multiple stacked teams, and even already found his Pippen/Wade (although he has not been able to make Brook submit the way alphas like James and Jordan would) If the Servant wants to challenge them for GOAT status, he will have to win this year. If not, his legacy will be forever tainted.

No excuses.

So Westbrook and Ibaka going down is Durant's fault?

You said Jordan and LeBron won their first rings at 27 giving Durant two years to win one. This thread is premature because OKC right now look like favorites as long as they stay healthy, and Durant is only 26. He could literally be ahead of the pack and you're already asking for him to get criticized or some shit.

Lebron had to suffer years of ringless memes before he won his chip. Hold Durant to the same standard. He's a clown and crybaby and deserves to be blown over like the awkward, skinny Gumbo looking motherhugger that he really is.

Jordan and Lebron didn't have a stacked team at such a young age. Durant has been playing with a stacked team since like forever. He should have already gotten a ring.

Harden-Ibaka-Westbrook on the same team and he still couldn't win:facepalm

No shit, he had a live tv special to bail on his team and then ran off to miami and start celebrating like he had already won shit only to play like dog shit in the playoffs.

durant may have lost his only finals appearance but he himself still played great despite getting no help.

lebron straight up choked when they could have easily went up 2-0 and won the series, and all after he had acted like the ring was going to just get handed to him too.

you're retarded if you expect durant who has been nothing but loyal to OKC to get criticized like lebron did.

ibaka wasn't even that good that year, at least offensively, and harden was no where near all star level. not to mention brooks was an even bigger jackass than now because of inexperience.

keep throwing out names all you want, it doesn't change shit because no one who isn't a moron is going to look at that 2012 thunder team and see 2014 ibaka, 2014 westbrook, 2014 harden, and 2014 durant.

No excuses. Durant has the same number of rings as Carmelo Anthony. He has a ways to go before anyone in this league respects him.

Kiss the ring, boy.

Durant is the best player in the world.

That's something you just have to deal with, little boy.

He gets this year and next year. After that, he'll have to choose where he spends the next 5+ years, will be in his prime, and there will be no more excuses to be had.

he won't. durant doesn't have the same expectations as lebron did/has. lebron has had the championship or bust status ever since his 4th year, even tho he didn't deserve it. meanwhile durant's expectations are basically win the scoring title.

durant, rwb, ibaka is deadly. i truly see them in the wcf. only way this team lose is when they have a bad shooting night

First of all stop putting Lebron on the same breath as Jordan. He doesn't belong.

As far as Durant, not his fault that his team got injured in the last 2 years. Even with a hobbled Ibaka he still to make it tougher to Spurs than James did.

Durant should be held accountable for last season. Westbrook was the 2nd best player in all the playoffs besides Lebron. The one bad game Russ had was against the Grizz and Durant was atrocious as well; Reggie Jackson came up big and bailed them both out.

His performance against the Clippers wasn't questionable as well.

The '14 Spurs were on a mission and Ibaka was out sure, but WB was going hard and Durant didn't play close to his regular season capabilities. He needs to be held accountable for that.

You didn't watch the playoffs, you are just parroting BS that you heard from trolls. 25/4/4, 32/12/9, 36/8/6, 40/7/3, 27/10/5, 39/16/5 that's just against the Clips
