Higher career TS% than Kobe or Melo

Fun fact: Harden's TS this season is .584, which is higher than Kobe has ever shot in his career over a season.. and this is with Harden shooting a career low 42% fg

Free throw era. Well see that drop in the playoff like last playoffs.

Playoff where true stars are born and fakes are destroyed by a sub par team called the Blazers or the Spurs.

Garbage.
Harden 42%

Derozan 39%
Rose 41%
Gay 43%
Love 44%
Wall 44%
Lowry 43%
Thompson 45%

So be honest, is it cause he's beasting and leading a team full of second rounders and cast away's to a 19-5 record?

Dude will be the MVP, and you'll just have to make threads to try and get someone to listen to you.

A 3 year stretch from age 26-28, Kobe averaged 10 free throw attempts per game, which is the same amount as Harden this year.

He makes up for it with lots of FT's though and at a high %.

Did Kobe got owned that badly in the playoffs having a stacked team like Harden had last season? He had Odom as his best player by that time. Harden had Dwight.

And Kobe was averaging nice fg numbers in HIS prime.

Harden did 46% last year and his FG% is climbing by the week. He'll finish around 46% again, which is great for a shooting guard who averages 27 PPG.

Harden is doing 27/6/7 right now. That's amazing and he's by himself as far as shooting guards go this season. Everyone else is a tier below him so this thread and hate is unwarranted, imo.

I am not hating. Hes amazing but hes not on a superstar tier as of yet. He has to prove when it counts, the playoffs. As a starter he was owned by a role player last year. He only played good against bench players in OKC so that really doesnt count for much. He got owned by Wade when it counted either way.

i like how people in here are suddenly propping up TS% when trying to diminish Kobe, but in other threads where the TS% are similar they would call TS% a sh1tty stat.

typicaly 10 year old mentality.

He's been playing like a top-5 player this season and should be a serious MVP contender with Howard missing so many games. We still need to see him bring the same level of play in the playoffs before we start calling him a superstar.

He's shooting 47.5% on 2 point shots. He just shoots a ton of 3's and gets to the line a lot so his fg% is misleading.

I won't call Harden a "manufactured star" but his game is taylor made for today's NBA. He's a really good player who understands how the game works and is able to take advantage of it. I can't hate him for that.

When did I say that? All I said was it's stupid to criticize his FG% when you're lying about it being 40, and it's still higher TS/EFG numbers than the guy you worship in his prime

Since Dwight went out...

29.6 ppg
6.7 apg
6.2 rpg
2.2 spg
1.2 bpg

46/37/88

I've asked BB and his girlfriend why Harden is the subject and not other players who shoot a similar (or worse) % then him, but he chooses not to answer. Probably because right now Harden's 'FG%' is the only knock on his game, which isn't a knock at all really.

Right now, Harden leads the Rockets in points, assists, rebounds, steals, and blocks, but, dude wants to hate on him cause he shoots 3% less from the field than Lillard, Thompson, Irving, Monta, Melo, etc...?

James ****ing Harden for MVP.
