View Full Version : Never been a Westbrook fan, but he's the best player in the world...

It is well documented that I have never liked Westbrook and I thought he was detrimental to Durant's success.
However, times have changed.
Westbrook is the best player in the world and that is absolutely shocking to me. Dude is the closest thing to Kobe we have seen in a long time. He's alpha as phuck and completely unafraid of the moment.

Agreed. Elite at his position in all aspects of the game.
And now that OKC isn't playing either Fisher, Sefolosha, or Butler 20-30 minutes a night, it helps out a ton. It's really the biggest difference in his play. He's not shooting over 2-3 defenders with a crowded paint and Sefolosha and Perkins left open.

I'd say he's second best after Anthony Davis.

we'll see come PO, if he continues this way, teams will put relevant effort into deveoloping plans to stop him. Not sure if he has the bball IQ to survive those nights, he's a one gear only guy

that doesn't make sense, OKC didn't win the ring
or are you talking about individual stats as if they mattered?

I am a huge LeBron James fan and very big Big Dusty Russy fan. Russy is the best in the world, I must admit

His fundamentals are solid. Amazing positioning and footwork on D, always in the right place when he's attacking for boards, and is now quite easily the best PG in the league at playing in the post.
Not to mention his pull up jumper which is basically automatic when he's given room.

Now just imagine if he could get the ball not just off of boards.

That's a sad and disappointing league if such a low IQ player is the the best. LeBron and Durant are better though. Westbrook is probably top 5 at the moment.

I'm a big Westbrook guy but I don't know about the best. He is certainly the most exciting though :pimp:
