They need another rotation big since they will no longer have the "blossoming" Wright.

But broken-down JO? :confusedshrug:

mavs have been after him for a while now and now have a dire need of him. both sides can do much worse if you ask me. perfect fit.

Not sure how he has recovered from his injury, but I thought he looked real good last season.

Also going after Ray Allen according to one of their announcers. Maybe LeBron can sign with Dallas next summer. The help seems sufficient. :lol

Makes sense, he was really quite effective for Golden State last year, and with Wright gone he'll make for a great backup to Chandler.

He was very capable in GS last year. Definitely a good 10-15 minute guy, plus he's already played with Rondo.

How many minutes do they need from him a night?

Wright played 18, so 14 should do it.

JO was decent as a backup with Warriors. He did quite well as a starter when Bogut was down also.

They can probably play him like 15 mpg, Greg Smith should be good for another 5 minutes or so.

This team will be deadly but fragile. Rondo, Jermaine, and Chandler are all injuries waiting to happen. On the same team? Fagettabout. Hope they can stay healthy, but I envision at least one injured for the playoffs. Probably O'Neal.

JO had his best years under Carlisle in Indiana. I love the fit. I hope it happens. I also expect the Mavs to sign Rashard Lewis (cut Charlie V) once he is medically cleared.

PG-Rajon Rondo | Devin Harris | Raymond Felton
SG-Monta Ellis | JJ Barea | Ricky Ledo
SF-Chandler Parsons | Al Farooq Aminu | Richard Jefferson
PF-Dirk Nowitzki | Rashard Lewis | Dwight Powell
CT-Tyson Chandler | Jermaine O'Neal | Greg Smith

I also think Greg Smith could give us like 10 minutes a game going forward.

Tyson / JO / Smith is actually really solid if 85% healthy.

Dwight Powell was also traded to the Mavs. Gives them another big body to play in case of injuries. So their current big man rotation is Chandler/Greg Smith/Dwight. If you add in JO, that's a solid center line.

I'd rather see them make a deal for KG.
