All stars at the PG, SG and PF position, a DPOY candidate at the C, and star/role player/scrub depending on what day of the week it is at SF.

Cavs and Mavs are really pushing the boundaries on how stacked you can get your teams

How? No way. Dallas really didn't give up much to get Rondo in return. Greg Smith is actually a better, younger version of Brandan Wright with much better defense, and is a lot stronger at finishing around the rim also anyway.

lakers 2009 and 2010 def. more stacked.
ariza, odom, bynum, ron artest all defense defense all day, kobe, fisher, goat coach and 2x all star and 2x all-nba second team gasol in 2009 and 2010.
rigt now gsw and memphis are way more stacked due to their deep bench.
and i would call chiacago, clippers, okc, cleveland and spurs more stacked as well.
and still our defense sucks: dont see how we could stop gsw, memphis or okc in a 7 game series.

All-stars at 3 positions? Monta was never an all-star.
Dirk can be an all-star, but he struggled this season, so he probably won't make it this year.
Rondo won't make it into the all-star game this year and has to prove that he is still an all-star level player.
They are stacked, but not because they have multiple superstars or something. They have a very balanced starting five of top 50 players in the league, probably no top 15 players (depends on Dirk), though.

Tied for number one coach, tbh.

Ugh, dont take it so literal...
Monta is definitely an all-star player, and I'm guessing you're a Mavs fan so shame on you for denying it.
Dirk is too, Chandler gives nice rim d, and Parsons/Rondo are pretty close.

Well, "all-star" is pretty definitive. If a team has three all-star players, it's a pretty big deal and it's different to team with three almost or borderline all-stars. I think there is a big difference between being an all-star and just being in the conversation. Ellis is in the conversation.
Only 12 players can be all-stars per conference and Ellis isn't even a top 15 player in the West. I'm just denying that he is a top 12 player in the west. I don't see anything wrong with that, even as Mavs fan.
My point is: We have a great roster, but we aren't top heavy. Almost every top 8 team in the West has a better duo or trio. That could be a weakness in the playoffs. We don't have go-to guys like Curry, Durant or Westbrook. Dirk isn't 2011 Dirk anymore.
how many threads like this one equals one Konex post? I am getting nervous right now?

Okay, I can definitely understand you then. Good point.

Whether Ellis makes the all-star team or not, he is still an All-Star player, no doubt.
He is no KD or Westbrook but he is damn good and underrated. Plus, he is clutch as hell and has been the go-to guy for us this year. His clutch stats have been crazy, and it's not even a small sample size.
Dirk is still the best player on the team but Ellis has many many nights where he is the 'guy'. And it's good that Dirk doesn't have to carry the team every single night.
