I know it's been tough. I wish we had another team close to us that could challenge us and help push us to the next level.
Alas, we're the only big dog in this town.

Why would there be a veto? The NBA doesn't own a team like they owned New Orleans when the CP3 trade was made.

Lakers fans are like 6 year olds that still think Santa and the tooth fairy exist and will make up any BS to defend their position.
They'll never learn: Kobe + a ball dominant PG does not work. Kobe will not be "demoted" to an off ball shooter a la Reggie Miller or Ray Allen, nor will he let someone else control the ball for most of the possession.
Stop crying about Chris Paul, this isn't NBA 2k15 where you can make a ridiculous team and dominate in a video game. This is real life

Kind of agree. I have to admit though, I do think the Lakers would've still gotten Dwight Howard, and CP3 would've been able to get Howard and Kobe to coexist. Not to mention, players seem like they really want to play with CP3. CP3 and Kobe wouldn't fit very well, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't have been successful. Maybe not championships, but overall, they definitely would've been better off today then they currently are.
