Rose defended Curry better?
rose on curry 5/14, 19 points 7 assists
westbrook on curry 14/24 34 points 9 assists
Taller than CP3

Do you watch basketball games? 1 on 1 Westbrook would lock Curry up, but the use of team basketball where they run him through 10 picks will give him space + he has to depend on the big man on his team jumping out on Curry to help. Out of those 34 points, I don't think he scored half of those on Westbrook.
How about offense? How did Rose do on offense against Curry? Since this is black and white to you.
Just gonna leave this here....

So far this season, Derek Rose has held opposing point guards to effective field-goal percentage of 38.7% and a player efficiency rating of 13.0. His defensive numbers are good.
By comparison, Russell Westbrook has held opposing point guards to an effective field-goal percentage of 33.3% and a player efficiency rating of 10.9%. But the numbers for Russell Westbrook on defense are better.
Take that for what it is worth.
I do think it speaks highly of Russell Westbrook that his numbers are better than Rose and he doesn't have a benefit for playing for a defensive minded coach like Thibs.

Idk where you're getting your numbers from, but could you post Curry's defensive numbers?
I swear he's gotta be up there. Night after night, opposing PG's shoot poorly against him

Curry made most his damage last night against other guys. OKC kept trading on screens and Curry took advantaged of the other guys (specially Jackson) to score his points.
I really don't like those changes on screens but Brooks is a known idiot.
