People hate the cops yet when something happens the cops are the first number they dial for help. Deal with it.

This is getting ridiculous now. I don't consider myself a liberal or conservative, but I find it interesting how both of those sides have flipped over this issue.

Gun-control issue:
Liberal: Paranoid about civilians running around with guns, want public protected from each-other. On side of government
Conservative: Paranoid about excess power that cops/government have, want civilians to have guns to protect themselves from government. On side of people

After Brown case:
Liberal: Paranoid about excess power that cops/government have, want civil rights movement to start back up. On side of people
Conservative: Paranoid about civilians running around asking for heads of cops/government, want people to lay down their fight. On side of government

Notice something? Yes, they are almost exact opposites. Only thing different is WHO is on whose side.

At the core, I am starting to believe that both of these issues have ZERO to do with guns or civil rights or cops or government.. It is 100% about power and 100% trying to be different from each-other without staying consistent. This is what happens when you have mostly 2 sides and most people split into those 2 groups (democratic/republican, liberal/conservative). It has already begun but very soon, there will be 2 groups: democratic liberal and republican conservative. Scary imo.
