Ariza got off to a hot start and everyone was all over his nuts and trashing Parsons. Now Ariza is shooting 36.4% from the field and has become an awful offensive player.
After Parsons slow start, he is DROPPING BOMBS on the league. Up to 45% from the field and 38% from 3 and 17 points a game.

Enough with the Parsons and Ariza bullshit. Parsons is a Dallas Maverick, not a Houston Rocket. Ariza plays for Houston. Parsons is a good for the Mavs and Ariza is nice for Houston even though his FG% recently has been in the bowels of hell. He still plays great defense and gives a good overall production. Brewer is a nice addition to Houston and will be a good spark off the bench. Now quit making all these retarded Parsons and Ariza threads. Pretty ****ing sure every person on ISH knows Parsons is the better player. At the end of the day, losing him didn't affect us badly and our record shows. In fact, the team didn't even get worse. The addition of Corey Brewer makes our present squad better than last year's.

Dude, YOU were one of the ones all over Ariza's nuts and trashing Parsons. YOU were acting like both starts from each player would last.
STOP backtracking and own up to it.

Because Ariza was obviously playing better than Parsons at the START of the season. I was trashing Parsons because he wasn't playing no where near as good as he's playing right now. What was he shooting... like 39% from the field? Now he's up to the mid 40s and scoring 17 ppg. Ariza was making his 3s at 50+% for the first couple games. Now it's totally different, but it doesn't mean you should keep making all these threads talking about how Parsons is better than Ariza. We get it.

So it's okay for you to trash Parsons when he shoots 39%, but it's cardinal sin when OP bashes Ariza for shooting 36%?
It was a terrible loss for the Rockets. Terrible. They have zero shot of making any noise in the playoffs with the way their roster is currently constructed.
Accept it and stop being a babyback b!tch. Don't dish it if you can't take it homie.

:facepalm
Maybe they want to have more than one guy on their roster who can play the 3 so Ariza won't have to play over 40 minutes time and again. That would be my guess.

Then explain why the team is 19-6 even when Ariza is shooting like shit. Not only that, but this team was depleted for the majority of the year so far. Look around dude. Stats don't tell the whole story. Ariza's defense is one of the reasons why we've been so good this year.

He fills the role that the rockets need much better than Parsons and for half the money. And his field goal percentage is skewed because he takes 8 3s per game compared to 5 2 pointers per game. Idk why people can't understand that both teams are completely satisfied with each players production.
If anything, I believe the move was meant to replace Lin's scoring rather than Parsons.
Brewer will come off the bench and run with the second unit while also providing a sub for both Harden and Ariza.
I could see a second line up of Terry, Brewer, Papanikilou, D Mo, and Black. That's a very serviceable second five once Houston is all healthy.

Yes its true Rockets need production from the bench, they were missing a bench player like Parson.

That just shows how weak the NBA is these days. People consider that a "strong" bench in the supposedly "stacked" western conference.
That would be a pathetic bench even a few years ago.

Well said. It is what it is and both teams are okay for it.
