Yeah, can definitely do better. I'd go with "ImCurry" or "ImLillard", not some guy from an underachieving team.

So? What does what they have done previously have to do with now?

Kobe is an average player now, yet he is taking too many shots and losing games for his team, as well as stalling progression of other players.

He need a little more rest, I think Scott clearly overplayed him in the first quarter of the season.
A man who hasn't played for 1.5 years and coming off two major injuries shouldn't play 35+- minutes a game, that wouldn't be realistic for a 25 year old in his prime, and especially for a 19 year veteran.
I think it just adds to Kobe's greatness that at his 19th year he's held to such a high standard, this guy has unrivaled longevity.
His FG% will normalize a bit later on in the season, maybe even in the second half, because he changed the mechanics of his shot due to not being able to jump so high on jumpshots anymore. He played good defense and aside from scoring had a good overall game today, it's just that he needs to get used to his new shot.

KOBE WONT ACCEPT to play just 28 min a game e.g. Funny, that kobe fans dont realize that fact. you cant coach kobe in a proper way if you arent goat coach.
its like the myth that he is clutch or has lots of gamewinners whatever. he some, of course, but he bricks a lot as well.

and concerning his jumper: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:12049199

Of course he'll accept that
Well that video just proved my point, his shot is broken and and the same time rusty.
So when you haven't played for that long and you're forced to change the mechanics of the shot, naturally bad percentage happens.
And it's not a myth that he's clutch, he's one of the best players in clutch ever and was well above league average in his prime, which is probably the longest prime ever.

He isn't really held to a high standard anymore. If any top superstar was shooting 37% fg for a season, not ONE person on this board would be defending him. Kobe shooting like a blind man and costing his team wins almost singlehandedly is not playing well, either - unless, ofcourse, he's held to a LOWER standard than anyone else in the NBA:applause:

i get that he's old and not as fast, not as strong, cant jump as high, etc. and his production should be falling off. aint no shame in that. its the natural order of things.

but there is absolutely no excuse to be playing like a *ucking retard with the worst shot selection ive ever witnessed. he's a 19 year vet and he plays as if he has no professional basketball knowledge, not one ounce.
