Interesting article. Instead of simply whining and silly posturing like wearing t-shirts or taking off warm-up jerseys, MJ actually makes a real impact as a black entrepreneur, enabling black folks in the economic arena. MJ knows this need to look to the opinions of famous black athletes is inherently slavish (as what do athletes know), and only encourages herd-like and inferior behaviour. MJ knows there's no place for that weak shit in people who want to get ahead in the world - they need to carve their own path, and stop seeing themselves as victims.
And yet he always gets a load of crap for not 'speaking up' about race issues (i.e. not thinking every incident that involved a black dude has some personal relevance for him), as if talking or tweeting will magically repair all problems :lol . A man of action rather than words. A man whose example helps the black community 100x more than these petty race baiters ever will. Respect :applause: .
