Why didnt Ferguson move up to Lettermans spot?

Ferguson has said he is tired of doing the Late Late Show for 10 long years so he will just not renew his contract and end his tenure.

Late Late Show is still on with another new host. Letterman's company, Worldwide Pants, is still in control of both CBS late night show slots.
