27 PPG in 30 MPG...

Thing is him going 100MPH all the time is what makes him so good in the playoffs. For everyone else it's like they have to go to another level and for Westbrook he just has to keep playing ball the way he does.

His worst game of the year and he still put up 33/8 :applause:

Just hope he doesn't wear himself out.

He's playing the lowest minutes of his career and probably isn't practicing as much as he was when he was younger and still developing...

I'm sure he'll be just fine.

btw this whole "saving yourself" mentality is beta as ****ing shit. Jordan never had to "save himself." Neither did Kobe. Or Russell. Or Wilt. Etc.

True alphas impose their will every second they are on the floor.

So why was Kevin Durant so tired last year and Westbrook so terrible in overtimes?

Who said Durant was tired?

And you're talking about a small sample size where Westbrook was too aggressive and had a poor shot selection.

It showed in his body language. His free throws. His injury.

There where 5 overtimes....

Exactly. That's the thing that pisses me off about someone like Rondo or Vince Carter back at the end of his Raptor days. Dudes didn't care and stopped playing. Talk about a spoiled entitled attitude. These guys are gifted and getting paid millions to do something they love, but apparently they don't have "IT". Westbrook is my favorite player in the league because he cares so much. You won't see him part of tanking. If he was on the Celtics this year instead of Rondo, I'd put money on him forcing his team to play better and a top seed in the East.

I just love the way Westbrook handles himself on and off the court. The guy doesn't give a flying **** about the media or any player on a team other than the Thunder. I seriously have yet to see this guy make friends or be nice with anyone not on OKC. :lol

That being said he's a great sportsman and you really can't ask for a better leader than that. He just exerts all of his energy for his team and nothing else.

The other day some media member asked him what his thoughts were on the Rondo trade. His response? "Nothing." I f*cking love Westbrook.

Wtf is "per"??

Wtf is "per"??

It is a measure of shot chucking volume, which has been scientifically proven to be the most valuable indicator of success. An in-depth explanation may be found here (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=324201).

Although the OP is actually incorrect here, as Westbrook's PER is only 28.9, which is 2nd in the NBA to the self-proclaimed Mamba's 30.7. Both very impressive demonstrations of shot jacking though!

Warmest regards,

Ayotunde Ndiaye

KD at his best is better than Westbrook and it isn't even close.

That being said Westbrook right now is the better player.

Durant was at his "best" during the playoffs last year after coming off his best season and it was close as to who was the better player :lol

ofcourse you have to save yourself to a certain extent. giving it your all for 48 minutes for 82 games is just stupid. the only reason hes playing hard is because he has to get back into the playoff race. once they are in position, he will definitely slow down.
