Kobe doesn't have team mates he just has people who he had to compete against for shot attempts

Can Kobe make his teammates better?

He would if he just retired.

Kobe makes good players better and bad players worse.

Lebron makes bad players better and good players worse.

Of course he can, he just has to change his game and his mentality a little bit.

multiple big men have had their best seasons of their career with him.
Backcourt role players too.
He can't fully coexist with another good to great backcourt player, that's understandable, but anybody else, Kobe will improve

lol, I know, I know that's most likely the case, but as a homer I'll always have that glimmer of hope deep down that Kobe wil wise up a bit as the season goes on. I even have playoff hopes  if you weren't allowed to be a bit delusional when it comes to your sports, it would kill a lot of the fun. Anyways, what team do you root for? No packers, basketball team.

Yes most of his teammates have their best years playing with him. Even Smush Parker

Shaq carried him in those 3 rings that even he had that worst series against the Pistons in 2004, Lakers still won.

Won more rings with just 1 HOF teammate per title team than anybody in history. :confusedshrug:

Lebron makes bad players better and good players worse.

Kobe looks to put others in the position to succeed

Lebron gives those players who are on the court with them at the same time.
a chance at success

Kobe makes good players better and bad players worse. where would you classify Smush and Mihm? Kobe definitely made them better.

When that hall of famer is Shaq, 3 titles is hardly impressive. The majority of the posters on this board reckon that a Lebron, Shaq team would have won 4+ titles with contemptuous ease.
Averaging 15 ppg on 36%fg in an NBA finals and have Shaq destroy the opposition doesn't count for much in your favor, unfortunately.
