No uhuh not them either.

47 years ago they were in St. Louis and they were getting past first round purely and only because West and Baylor were always hurt so the Hawks didn't meet anybody until round two.

I don't remember Pettit except maybe in an interview or something after he retired; so all my life the Hawks have been a shining beacon......... leading straight onto the rocks where all ships are smashed, holed, and sunk.

I'm pretty sure his production started sliding the following year. He became a journeyman after he left the Hawks.
