25 points so far again tonight. Dude is what, 3rd in scoring? Top 5 all time? I don't want to see my dude go out like this. Why is the Lakers front office so inept? Duncan has tons of help in his later years.

Kobe is playing 1 on 5.

Karma no lube double penetrating kobe along with father time for ripping his teammates and management.

29 shots
9 turnovers

It's more like 0 vs 6 because Kobe is playing on the other team.

Win-Win situation, Kobe won't have to walk on crutches in the 4th.

Kobe needs to take the backseat to Nick Young he's the better player now Nick should be the 1st option. When kobe is the robin on the team he wins look at his years with gasol and shaq

Hope they have seen the light since then.

Kobe is setting a new standard for mindless chucking. With an average starting 2 LA wins this game.

It's interesting... Lakers shot 37.9% today. Obviously a team FG% cant' be only Kobe's fault. The whole team is at fault for shooting that poorly...

or are they?

Take away Kobe tonight, and the Lakers were shooting 44.6%

Sounds like Kobe needs to get it to his teammates more, or play less minutes. I mean they will lose either way and won't make the playoffs, but why does Kobe need to take 30 shots? His teammates are getting no room to develop their game because Kobe takes all the shots. Why doesn't he let the other guys get some chemistry and allow them to work on their games instead of trying to play hero ball all the time? No trolling, legitimate question.

Nick Young: 7/14 for 26 points

Kobe Bryant: 8/30 for 25 points

But he has no one he can pass it to, so he has to keep chucking.

Lakers committed almost half of the cap to him. It is what is. I rather see them keeping that too 5 pick then getting those meaningless wins.

Nah he would be the 1st option if he came off the bench he should just go back to his robin roll put his pride aside thats the only time he wins smh.The man is so stubborn you can put up batman numbers we all know this. Its gets to a point where you have to choose stats or wins. You're not talented enough like say a jordan to have it both ways

Another thing beaten to death. Kobe didn't take a paycut like Dirk and now he is paying for it.

Well, actually they pay him too, I guess. That's what matters in the end, no? $$$ and moar $$$

You honestly think one player in the price range of about 10 mil (not gonna get you a near-all-star player in the West) would have been the difference? This argument is stupid.

You say you aren't trolling, so you must just be a fvcking idiot then. Take Kobe away and his scrub teammates need to take 30 more shots, fair dinkum I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty hook than watch those d-leaguers shoot the ball another 30 times, fg % stays under 40.

Nick Young scored 26 points on 14 shot attempts

26 points on 14 FGA & 8 FTA vs 25 points on 30 FGA & 6 FTA :oldlol:

It was a close game and he missed 11 out of his last 12 shot attempts, absolutely disgusting.

Nobody cares if its enjoyable to watch. Lakers view ratings are down 28% anyway, so it's not like Kobe chucking is helping. This is about players developing, not some eye test bullshit.

No Kobes legacy is already set in stone. No matter how awful he is for the next 2 years, no question he's already past it. It's horrible that the Lakers has to take the fall. So the only light at the end of the tunnel this season is keeping that top 5 pick.

That rescinded CP3 trade was the beginning of the end of the Kobe Laker dynasty, and trading Derek Fisher for trash ass Ramon Sessions was icing on the cake.

The CP block hurt lakers, but that wasn't what killed Lakers chance of a ship in the near future. The day Dumbo/jimbo signed the check for Kobe's $24M was the end of Lakers title runs for this decade.

Duncan/Dirk took a paycuts, and both will be battling for championships into their twilights. I don't blame Kobe at all for taking the money, but it makes me hate that rat face when he's calling out his teammates and say he's all about winning.

For the record: 25+ years as a lakers fan, ZERO as a Kobe fan.

Hope Jeanie keeps her word and boot dumbo in two years.

I will say this: Kobe has a better record with a significantly worse cast in a significantly tougher conference than Carmelo Anthony, who IMO is getting a huge pass this season.

Kobe should sprain his ankle so everyone can see the Lakers play as a team and win 10 straight than Kobe would retire in shame, selfish fgt.

Melo has a much worse cast, with many more injuries, his 3rd best player hasn't played a game all season.

Melo is shooting 8% better from the field and he himself always gets criticism for inefficiency.

He is now shooting 29% in his last 5.

And no one has even brought up the fact that he had 9TOs too.

Apparently Kobe doesn't think 25m is enough this year and is throwing games. #investmentbe

I'm sorry to say it but it's probably best for the Lakers if Kobe breaks his foot or something and is out for the season. It's unreal to see him chucking away almost every game.

If this continues, I think the "injuries" will pile up, there's no way the coaching staff nor the team can endure Kobe playing like absolute crap and not pull him at some point...Nikka is best off faking injury and using the rest of the season to get himself into tip top shape for next year, when they can put a better roster together.

He's not going to attract many FAs with the way he's playing right now.
