Assemble a collection of talent of players that you could get for 23.5 mil.

It doesn't have to be a starting 5 or anything, just want to get an idea of hypothetical pieces that could be added for that chuckers cap hit.

Can't be rookie contracts.

Edit: Assmeble

Steve Nash and 3 million in cash and 2nd round pick for Brandon Bass and Will Bynum. All contracts expirers.

Also have to factor in that nobody wants to play with Kobe.

I would go after Lance Stephenson, Quincy Miller from the D-League, dig up the corpse of Lamar Odom, and trade for Isaiah Thomas (hopefully for cheap). Go after Greg Monroe/Roy Hibbert in the offseason (hopefully for cheap). I would swiftly kick Wesley Johnson in the Johnson before I release him from the team. Price can be cut. Robert Sacre can be cut. Anyone not name Ed Davis, Jordan Clarkson, Nick Young, and Julius Randle can either be traded or expire at the end of the season and kick rocks. I wouldn't be sad to trade Jordan Hill to any team willing to part with any first rounder of any future draft within reason at the deadline. Hopefully rebuild the following year with a top 5 pick and cap space.

Rondo 12m
Kobe 7m
Deng 10m
Gasol 7m
Chandler 14m

I know this isn't what OP asked for but Kobe could have been competing with a team similar to this if he took the Duncan/Dirk/Gasol paycut.

Great job on that starting 5 Nash, that being said, get kobe the **** out of that lineup.

Manu is 1000000 times better at a smiliar price at this point.

Also I think like a Spencer Hawes type would look great at a discount in that lineup.

Do you choose to be ignorant or are you just this stupid at the game of basketball?
Yes, Kobe's trying to shoulder a bigger load than he can handle right now, but Manu has never been close to Kobe's level, he never even sniffed it.

Manu is is currently better. Kobe is negative for a team .

if he took the Duncan/Dirk/Gasol paycut.

One of these names does not belong :lol

why? Gasol took a paycut and ended up in a great situation at the latter stages of his career and is now putting up 20ppg/12rpg/2bpg for a contender.

When game is matter, Manu has always been a player with more impact to his team. Kobe is empty stats his whole career especially in playoff. He got carried by his team/coach/commissioner every 7 out of 8 series. He'd have a one good series every two or three yrs that's it.

200+ PO games only 1 game over 50 pts to think he's greatest scorer of all time is a joke. He's good at scoring a lot during regular season against weaker opponents that's what Kobe is all about
200+ PO game only 1 game winner out of god knows how many attempts all during his prime....

chill out, einstein.

Your rest of the post is cringe-worthy too, try to learn something about basketball and be objective! you'll go a long way if you do that
