View Full Version : Lakers fans, would you rather Kobe shoot 10 less times a game for 10 more wins?

Take 10 shots away from Kobe, his scoring averages get killed though his efficiency goes up a bit back to more acceptable levels, and say as a result the team wins 10 more games than it otherwise would. Would you want this? Or should Kobe be getting his because the team sucks 10 more wins or not. Cause right now it seems like he's thinking - **** it, we aint gonna win anyways i might as well get my 25 a game -

What do you fans think, would you rather he shoot a lot less for the Lakers to win just a few more games?

Yes. Looks like we won't be getting our pick so at least I want us to compete. I'm a Kobe stan but a Laker W is the bottom line. I'm not watching Laker games to see us lose. I have no interest in watching us lose game after game.

It would be more like 5 wins, at best.

As long as we loose. It's Kobe's desicion, he hurts himself by shooting like Josh Smith. They results are ok, as long as we keep the pick.

Not even. I don't think it makes any difference at all tbh. We won't win with Kobe putting up an efficienct 18-20 ppg just like we won't win with him chucking his way to 25. But if it got us 10 wins, hell yeah I'd take it.

Yes, except the Lakers would have 3-5 less wins if Bryant didn't carry them at times this season

Lakers have a bottom 5 record right now.
Why would they want to add 10 wins only to lose their lottery pick?

I would rather have Kobe shoot 10 more times a game for 10 additional losses.

Lakers season has actually been nearly perfect to me. Most games have been somewhat competitive and entertaining (other then a handful of blowouts) yet a majority of the close games are still losses... keeping that bottom 5 record alive. Cant ask for much more in a rebuilding season with no players to develop. All they need to do now is collect some assets and let kobe chase any record he can.

Kobe's headed towards the worst season in the modern history of the game. There have been people who have been worse, of course, but none at such a combination of quantity and inefficiency, which is a lot more damaging to your team than being a lousy player who only shoots a few times a game.

As a fan, I want us to lose every game for the rest of the year. I don't care what Kobe does as long as we lose.

They win 2 of the last 3 without Bean, tbh.

Either way we're not making the playoffs. This team is garbage outside of Lordbe. I'd rather be entertained and watch Lordbe put up epic high scoring games whilst my team getting in the lottery instead of... not being entertained and not having a lotto pick:confusedshrug:

I think this was Kobe's plan all along anyways:rockon: .

I would rather Kobe just retire and let these young guys (and Boozer) play the game.

taking 10 shots away doesnt automatically come out of the miss column...

He needs to quit jacking up terrible shots. He's shooting more ill advised shots than ever this season and he's not making as many of them as he used to either.
