I don't think so because Rondo is a ball dominant PG where the triangle is based on ball movement and cutting. Also, Caldy's contract may not fit Boston's plans unless they could have moved him to a 3rd team. The tank would have been on.

Adding Rondo and Green probably would have pushed the Knicks into the double digit wins meaning the early 20's. I dont think Rondo would have been happy but Green would have loved it considering the only 2 players shooting for the game would be he and Melo.
