Durant's been super durable his entire career, no need in putting a lingering injury on him so he can play an extra ~5 reg season games. Durant's got the skillset and length to stay relevant well into his 30's he should take care of his health right now.

I agree with sitting him out. if westbrook really is as super alpha as everybody claims he is okc should still have a chance to make the playoffs. and considering they have championship aspirations they're gonna need a 100% durant.

however if westbrook cant hold the fort and get em close to the playoff picture durant might have to step in.
