Like it's even close. Deng should win it before LeBron is even remotely considered.

Deng. Wade was incredible in the first half, but Deng was awesome all game.

25/8/8 on 11-16 with great defense.

Luol Deng

Not only did he produce on the offensive end and nearly got a triple double...He locked up Lebron James on defense and made him look like a non-factor at times.

Lmfao at you phrasing it to bring down Westbrook. Didn't watch the Heat game, but Westbrook was dominant and he shat on Parker. Parker is the most overrated, lowest impact "elite PG" in the league, while Westbrook at this current moment has a case for being the best player in the world. Accept it.

that's what happens when you set your mind to bring the full impact of your capabilities to the floor, as opposed to playing it safe and worrying about what people think...

this approach frees teammates up more... and with westbrook overtly taking on the challenge rather than shying away and trying to be too cool, it allows teammates to play freer too.. :confusedshrug:

Goatbrook ALL DAY

You mean to tell me there is an aspect of the game that can't show up on a box score?

I guess I missed the "intangibles" while at the game. Should have watched it on TV.

But just rewatched it to make sure those first 4 phantom fouls on Westbrook in the first quarter were phantom. Then checked the box score and the final disparity in free throws in the game. Then checked the amount of free throws Westbrook is shooting a game. It all matches up. Game 6 2012 anyone?

Dude, let it go. Im not even sure if Parker would say he's better than Westbrook at this point.

Dude is still getting benched in the clutch. It's not a fluke.

Westbrook started slow and finished strong.

Wade started strong and barely finished

Uh... Westbrook and not close? Missing one of the best players in the league, and still dominates the defending champion.

Deng and Wade beat a middling team, in the EAST. Who cares?

Quit being dumb...Parker just outplayed CP3 two nights ago coming off an injury (ON TEN LESS SHOTS THAN WESTBROOK JACKED TONIGHT). No, he's probably not going to jack up 30 shots a game like Westbrook/Melo, but there's still plenty of people who see how valuable he is, including coaches (voting him the only All-Star on a championship team) and putting him at the top of the MVP race 2 years ago. He's been injured most of this season and will be just fine. Don't worry.

He's valuable because he is the only scorer on the Spurs. Highly efficient as well. But he's not on Westbrook's level of overall dominance.

That's the thing, he's not. They have more than enough weapons, the coaching, and system to do just fine without him. Won't win the championship, but if everyone is healthy, the Spurs are still a 50-55 win team without him. Dude has the smallest impact out of any "elite" PG in the league.

They score by committee and are much better that way, but if you took the entire roster and put them by themselves Tony Parker is the only one I would trust to be able to score points consistently on his own. Not sure if id trust anyone else to average 20 points tbh.

Nice piece to have in your pocket though like the Spurs.
