I know, but it's obvious when he's healthy, which he pretty much will be the rest of the year, that he isn't conserving energy like Lebron. Hell, Durant had a 30 point first half in the game he got reinjured.

22/5/3 over 9 games isn't top 10 regardless of PER

But you KNOW that's gonna go way up. Check his minutes man and what he's producing in those minutes. Put him around 36-40 minutes and he's killing it.

Damn, Durant's stats are insane.
22/5/4 on 53/40/87 in just 28 minutes a night. Playing elite defense as well, with the highest DRTG of his career.

ok... but you have to actually be playing to be a top 3 player. If you're on a minute restriction, you're not top 3. Can we at least wait till he's playing again before disrespecting guys like Curry and Harden?

Lebron is my favorite player, but it's obvious he can't bring the energy that Brook, Durant and Davis can. However, I think Bron will be 2nd best in the playoffs where he goes all out.

How bout giving props to the guys leading their teams to wins, and not the guys who aren't in the playoffs because they've been out due to injury?

I guess I didn't realize how good Durant has been in the 9 games he's played...
Adjusting his stats to the minutes he played last year, and you end up with
30.6 ppg 6.8 rpg 4.9 apg 53.0 FG% 40.5 3% 87.0 FT%
Compared with last years stats
32.0 ppg 7.4 rpg 5.5 apg 50.3 FG% 39.1 3% 87.3 FT%
Seeing as he was coming off of an injury, and clearly still rusty, a healthy Durant has likely done the unthinkable yet again and come back even better than he was the year before
