Contract is running out, and will need to get a new phone in the coming weeks. Any suggestions?
Not keen on a HTC as I just had a HTC One M7, and although being a decent phone, I always ran into some problems once updating.
I'm thinking either the Sony Xperia Z3, Galaxy 5 or the iPhone 6. Any other suggestions. More so the two android phones, since I'm not a fan of the iPhone interface, user friendliness, and the fact their phone is more expensive but seems to be a bit outdated on specs and capabilities.
Are those the best 3 phones on the market, outside the really big ones which I am not a fan of, like the Note, etc? Any suggestions are welcome.
My screen cracked on both of my s4s. Using my girlfriend s4 mini. I'm holding off until 4k phones come out as soon as next year. The next IPhone might have something huge like 4k display.

Moto X 2014 is a fine phone, my friend just changed to one from a Galaxy S5 and believes he made the right choice.

:biggums:
Why does a phone need a 4k display? The **** does that even accomplish? Especially with the battery technology you'll be lucky to get 6 hours out of a phone like that.

How are phone contracts in Australia? Isn't data overpriced? Also.. are you buying your phone outright or with another contract?
I wouldn't know how to compare it to America. I'm guessing it is more expensive like everything else. I'll be getting it on another contract.
I pay about 65 a month, and get 3gb of data, unlimited calls essentially, and as much text as I want.
Seems like the Moto X is the way to go. I will look into that one. Is the Galaxy S5 any good?
Only thing leading me to iPhone is the fact their stores are nearby, and if something goes wrong, I can go in and get it exchanged, instead of wait 3 weeks like my HTC. But price is so ridiculous, and storage is tiny.

It really depends on what you want in a phone. I personally have been rocking the Samsung Galaxy Nexus for 2 years now. The phone is literally 3+ years old. In two weeks I'm upgrading to probably the 2013 Motorola Moto X. When I buy phones I usually buy them when they're about a year old so the price isn't so high, but it's still an upgrade to me personally.
Right now the most important thing to me is battery life. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus has horrible battery life. I even upgraded it from a 1850mAH to a 2100mAH battery and it still sucks.
I've done a lot of research and the Moto X 2013 has awesome battery life even though it's a 2200mAH battery. The hardware in the phone utilizes the software greatly, but still gives you a premium feel. Also a 4.7 inch screen is perfect for me, not too big or small. I think 5.2" would be the biggest I could deal with.

I would recommend these phones...
Sony Xperia Z3
Motorola Moto X (2nd Gen)
OnePlus One (this would personally be my first choice if I could get it)
LG G2 or G3

I'm trying to decide between an Iphone 5s or iphone 6.
Kinda hate how big the 6 is. The 6+ is goofy big.
I like the size of my iphone 4s, and wish they were still that size.

Not an iPhone fan but the 5s is more innovative and has character over 6.

I'm deciding between Moto X 2013 and G Nexus 5, performance wise GN5 blows the X out of the water plus it has a nice display (1080 res and a whooping 450 pixel density) . The Moto has better camera and battery life.

I've narrowed it down to this and the S5. I really don't care which, I'm simply after reliability, since they're essentially the same thing.

Don't sleep on the LG G3. Quad HD display, Quad core processor, Gorilla Glass 3 screen, sweet battery...I can go on and on.

Nexus 6. Too sexy. S5 is pretty good though.
