I couldnt do it justice. He went down the line. Lebron...Love...Wade having one more ring and two more balls than Lebron...Ray Allen keeping Lebron from being 1-4...Clevelands wikipedia having a tourism section for no reason...it was brutal. Hardest ive laughed in a while.
As a guy said on twitter a moment ago:
Papi LeBatard is a savage.....
It was absolutely glorious. :oldlol:
Give it to me again!

Can't wait to hear this.
Will be refreshing to hear the unadulterated truth from someone at ESPN.
He pulled out the Ray Allen shot on him. Papi is a very smart guy. Very sharp for his age.

Waiting on link. Why are these 2x dudes so salty? He only played their 3.5 seasons. The rest of his career was spent in Cleveland. In the overall scheme things, his stint in Miami will be a blip on the radar screen. Especially if he manages to bring his hometown to the glory.

Considering there's a better chance then not those will be his only titles, I seriously find that hard to believe

Dude he took out a billboard in Akron. The guy is possibly more salty than even the guy who wrote the "Whore of Cleveland" book. That guy had actual attachment to Bron being a fellow hometown area resident, and offspring. Rooted for him for 7 seasons, and watched him go from HS kid to grown man.
LeBatard and his creepy father developed some weird fascination with LeBron. Anyone from Miami being upset LeBron went back to Cleveland makes little sense given the circumstances of how he even got to Miami.

All humor derives from truth. If you don't feel there is a strong element of those actual sentiments, then the joke is actually on you.
Yea, they may not be that literally crazy about it. But the butthurt with them is real. In an interview with fellow Miami product, Dwyane the Rock Johnson, they were trying to coerce him with leading questions into being just as incensed about LeBron's depature. And he didn't jive with it at all.

Wtf? :biggums:
How tho? Putting aside the fact that we're approaching the mid point of the season and The Cavs are still no where near being a championship contender despite their misleading seeding out East, but Lebron went to four straight Finals in Miami an had some of his best statistical seasons there as well. How is that a blip? It's like saying Shaq's LA days were nothing compared to Orlando.
If anything Lebron will regret this move in the long run.

Shaq was in LA in '97, '98, '99, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004. That's 7.5 seasons. 4x more than LeBron spent in Miami. That's WAY more basketball.
I'm talking about his time spent there. His best statistical seasons are still in Cleveland. 2006, 2008, and especially 2009 and 2010. He has 2x MVPs in Cleveland as well. Sure he won 2 rings in 4 seasons. But that small time he spent there in Miami will be dwarfed by the amount of time he played in a Cleveland uniform.
I didn't say anyone wouldn't forget his 2x MVPs, 2x Rings, and 2x Finals MVPs there.
How are you going to say it was a dumb move by LeBron to go back to Cleveland? It actually was a no brainer. He instantly became a beloved sports figure again. No longer a villain with HUGE expectations in Miami.
He may never win a ring again, but going back to Cleveland was a total legacy move. That franchises greatest player, who hails from the area. As for basketball reasons, Miami's top talent is aging ... and not particularly well. The last 2 seasons in Miami they seemed about as dependant on LeBron as Cleveland did before. He goes back to Cleveland that has young talent on the upswing. And whose to say they ultimately won't be competing for a championship?
Like you said, they play in a joke of a conference. And visually, it definitely seems like Bron is saving his energy for the post season. That's the only way I can rationalize the large stretches of not caring, or playing lazy defense which hasn't been typical of him since 2007. The Cavs will be fine. If you don't think that they can get by the teams currently seeded better than them ... you're crazy.

Really ive always been impressed by anyone who can speak more than one language. Im sure hes better at English than I am at Spanish.

Easy targets? I'm not sure what to make of that. My grandmother has a thick English accent and I have no problem understanding her. The bigger problem was his rapid pace in running through whatever script he was reading off of, combined with the natural audio obstructions that will exist when you are talking on the phone, which is then being broadcast on the radio... and then whatever is lost in the recording process.
It was legitimately difficult to understand what he was saying. What I did hear didn't seem all that original or interesting, though. But hey... I think sports talk radio is awful in general, be it in Miami, Cleveland or anywhere else. Filling airtime is difficult and it is obvious most of the time. LeBetard in particular really annoys me with his laughing for some reason. It's like nails on a chalkboard for me.
But, if you guys enjoyed it... *cheers*

They shouldn't be so salty, they're fortunate he made Miami relevant and got them two chips and 4 NBA Finals trips. Had LBJ been smart and chose to go to his best option back in 2010 and chose Chicago, with that FC, he'd most likely be working on getting his fourth title right now.

So do you guys just have no concept of banter? I notice that it's usually people from the heartland and middle of america that get extremely flustered or assume that any light jabs and jokes are a serious attack on someone's character.

Other than that phrase he kept repeating throughout the rant (which I think was in Spanish?), I thought it was surprisingly clear. Particularly with English being the father's second language.
This coming from someone who simply cannot understand anything Austin Carr says. So I definitely wouldn't be able to transcribe through most accents.
