I like this young fellow. He always had potential, but I never thought he would be this good. The best power forward in the game in his 3rd year is currently scoring 24 ppg and putting up 10 rpg. He is also in talks of MVP consideration which I'm quite iffy about it because I feel like his team have to be at least top 4 west to even be considered to win that award. Just keeping it REAL. I'm not hating on him, because I want the young man to blossom and go higher its just that his team is not really helping his cause and might make him miss the playoffs again. I believe the pelicans don't have to worry about the suns, but they have to be worried about the thunder hindering them from making the playoffs. Plus those other higher 7 west teams are too damn good to even knock them off.

I believe this kid should either have his team make better trades for them to compete or he should go to another team that has a better shot at being a successful playoff team. I wish youngin the best though. I just hope he don't turn into a t-mac type player who has only amazing stats, all star appearances and scoring titles to look forward to sum up his entire career. Will Star Anthony Davis and the pelicans make the playoffs in 2015 ISH??:confusedshrug:

0% chance

OKC
Golden State
LAC
Portland
Houston
Dallas
San Antonio
Memphis

All 8 teams will win at least 50 games. New Orleans will be lucky to finish .500

New Orleans should be in the Eastern Conference. They're much closer to the East coast than the West coast anyway .

Then we'd get to see AD in the playoffs

I actually think Memphis are the problem. Them niguhs are in Tennessee, that's east hands down.

Memphis is bascially directly north of NoLA. I think both teams should be in the East :confusedshrug:

Who comes West than?

Bucks?

Blame the Vancouver and original Charlotte Hornets franchise for messing things up.

If only his team would go back to the EC. Pelicans(formerly Hornets) were originally in the Eastern Conference.

If Durant is out for longer than expected, then possibly. But if Durant comes back soon, and OKC stays relatively healthy the rest of the season, then no. OKC will at least move into the 8th spot and New Orleans isn't as good as the top 7 teams in the West, either.

Conference and divisions in sports aren't geographically accurate anyway because of how dense in population the Eastern regions are, especially the northeast.

The Miami Heat (1989), Charlotte Hornets (1990), Orlando Magic (1991) used to be in the Western Conference.

Two Florida Team, as far East as you can go playing in the West?

I'm not ruling it out, but I'll say no. They're currently in at 9th and they can probably jump ahead of phoenix, but at the same time OKC is coming strong.

They definitely need to be in the west tho.

Won't make it in the West. Would probably be 5th/6th seed in the East.

AD isnt leading Pels anywhere as long as Monte Williams remains coach
