I'm a Chicago home boy but Westbrook has just been unreal this season. I give it to Westbrook, but it is close unlike what the poster above said.

2011 rose is better than 2014-15 westbrook.

You serious bro?
2011 Rose was on par with 2012-2014 Westbrook.
This new and improved Westbrook is a step ahead.
On offense its close, on defense it is not.

westbrook has been just about the best player in the league so far. Its westbrook. But he hasnt played a full season so idk why youre making the comparison so early.
On offense its close, on defense it is not.
rose was a great defender in 2011...

That's my whole thing.
Westbrook has a significant impact on both ends. He's everywhere...

No he wasn't, nor has he ever been.
For all the talk Chicago fans had hyping Rose's improvement as a defender, you sit down and watch a game, and you see his man constantly get into the paint at will. No matter who he is guarding, they somehow manage to go off, or be the reason for open shots.
He can't even properly funnel his man into the bigs. Noah and company were working overtime to make Rose look anything near capable on defense.

Westbrook and not close.
Pretty much. 2010-2011 Rose was a great player but is wildly overrated.

our entire defensive philosophy is to funnel guards into the bigs or to give up long jumpers. No one got by rose "at will" Who does westbrook lock down then? i remember lillard dropping 40 on him a few days ago. no one is gonna be a perfect defender, but rose has been a very capable defender before his injury. He was pretty bad his rookie year, but he has improved. Youre acting like he's james harden out there :facepalm players didnt go off on rose in 2011, he dominated his matchups that season. especially against elite guards.

Westbrook is better. Expect your slap-dick, Chitcago posters to disagree though. :oldlol:
