I'm sure it had to do with the narrative of the game. It's a BS award anyway so who cares.

Not a BS award at all. I'd say this puts him ahead of Kobe Bryant all time

Next year might be Kobe's last chance. I could see him gunning for the award if his health permits it. It's the one last thing his resume is missing.

Westbrook will almost certainly get one, maybe even multiple. The dude is just too much of a beast, and I think more people are starting to appreciate that.

All Star game is nothing more than a glorified rucker scrim.:lol :facepalm

In this sport, only these counts: MVP, FMVP, ring.

Nothing else matter.

Well, not everyone can stack the deck in their prime and force their HOF teammates to become spot up shooters.

3 years.

It was still Wade's team and leader in 2011. The following season is when he turned the reins over to LeBron.

It's a Rucker scrim till your fav player wins it then it's bragging rights. Quite literally everyone was excited about the Xmas MVP up until thru announced it.

Useless award but Westbrook should of won it. Dude didn't have a teammate getting a near triple-double to win the game while having a horrible 2nd half. :lol

It's hilarious that LeBron stans are legit rustled over this. Wade winning the award head to head against Lebron is a nightmare scenario for them. With LeBron having won in the past, they don't want to admit it's meaningless.

Hey Yo

One could say Deng had a better case than Wade.

Wade went 2-12 in the second half while Deng has never had 25-8-8 game like he did Thursday.
