Look at them n99s in red swarming Acy like it's Brazzers and literally no teammate comes to his aid, the other 4 players just walk away and don't even bother with the appearance of backing Acy in the fight

:facepalm

Acy was in the wrong, but that pretty much sums up the Knicks right now. They don't care.

Anyone catch when he literally just shoulder barged one of his coaches and Shumpert as he left the court. Dat team chemistry. :lol

not enough brothas on the court for the knicks, too many image conscious upstanding character types

After the game, Carmelo Anthony was asked why some of the Knicks didn’t get involved in the Wall/Acy skirmish quickly, as the Wizards did.

“You can’t do that now,” said Anthony, who tried to calm Acy down in the aftermath of the incident. “Guys on the bench can’t do that, they can’t move. I saw our coaches holding them back. I saw the guys on the court, anytime you’re running to a large group of people, something can happen. I wasn’t going to allow myself to run up to a group of people in the circle and now something happens to me, now I’ve got to worry about what I might do or what I’m capable of doing. I’d rather just get Quincy out of there and walk away from it while they’re trying to figure out what’s going on.”

"Anthony is no stranger to altercations at Madison Square Garden. As a member of the Denver Nuggets in 2006, he was involved in a brawl with the Knicks that resulted in Anthony being suspended for 15 games for throwing a punch.

Melo has been down this road.

No fire and desire as Clyde would say it. There is hardly any unity and brotherhood on a historically bad team. Unless they are young up and coming team, I don't expect them to care. These guys get paid millions to stink it up. Soft indeed.

I would still say the 05/06 Knicks were the worst Knicks team I've ever seen, considering the context of everything. The Knicks should have just walked from Melo and started over.

Yeah, I didn't want them to break the bank to bring Melo back. Never saw him as THE GUY that will be the #1 when/if the Knicks ever win it all. Phil Jackson is new at this job, but I sure as hell hope they have a plan. If they get a stud in next year's draft, Melo is gonna be the one to mentor the kid? I'm not sure how I feel about that, not expecting Melo to sit around and wait for the kid to develop. I'm not sure how good Okafor is, never seen him play, but I doubt he is anywhere close to Anthony Davis.

I remember isiah's knicks well, they were bad and mishmash of talent but they did have toughness

i remember melo driving to the hoop in a blow out trying to show up the knicks and literally got beat by the entire squad

thats why this team is more pathetic

OK, you mean coached team. Isiah was the leader of his Piston's team and they were a gang of thugs. Only rivaled by a couple of Knick teams. But you are right, this team lacks much more than the Isiah coached teams.

Melo will never be the vocal leader - that job is for Fish. He's pretty quiet now, as it's been acknowledged this is a tank job. Next year will be a different ball game IMO.

Fans just can't seem to accept that this next draft is all we're in for. Free agency 2016 is more appealing, and I believe it's what Phil is banking on.

There will be more competition next season... this one's over for me.

Knicks future doesn't really look too good. Other than melo at SF, knicks are pretty weak at every other position/bench and coach. I'd also, abdonded the triangle unless they land marc gasol.

if we build around hardaway and you guys around Butler it will be like them 90s Bulls/knicks battles all over again
