Mambas are vicious and don't fear anything. Their ego is their biggest downfall since they are not constantly evolving to deal with their environment. When their ego takes a hit, they re-evaluate their position and find other means to dominate. Kobe is waiting. He is not injured. He is re-evaluating his role on the Lakers and taking all the criticism to heart. Playing the Suns and sitting out against the best teams is premeditated. He knows exactly what he has to do to shut up the critics.
