Lakers tanking?

Jordan Hill is no rim protector, Cavs better look elsewhere.

Thats awful. What good is a 9M big who can't defend??

He totally duplicates Varejao for next year too.

Isn't he on a team option for next year?

Jordan hill and Kevin love front court. Defensive nightmare. :oldlol:

I'd take it. Hill is a nice expirer which helps our plan for free agency but we get a rookie and a pick back. Plus it makes us immediately worse so we may get to keep our pick this year

surely the Lakers could get something better for Hill.

That's a tank move by LA. Not that they have hope but it means Bryant's signing is just a big thank you for services rendered.

Yeah for another 9M. Thats no bargain. Bigs who can't defend the basket are worthless. And Cle is collecting them like Beanie Babies.

Yea...just saying that they wouldn't be locked in for next year as well.

Terrible trade though. Just awful.

The Lebron impact...panic trades and firing coaches....LOL

Lakers did just get Tarik Black, so this will help the tank move along a bit better. They should throw in Nick Young for Dion Waiters, although I doubt the Cavs are that dumb.

I'll take it. The protection on that Grizzlies pick is beyond ridiculous though. Cavs might have to throw in a 2nd rounder.

Seriously? it would take the Lakers trading Jordan Hill for you to realize that...

I was pretty damn certain that's what they were doing when they signed 3/4s of the team to one year contracts for the second year in a row :lol

Easy move. If I was LAL GM I'd start to hoard picks at this point. Boston is stacked with picks for like the next 5 years.

I'd be sad to see Hill go, but he's obviously not on the edge of superstardom like we thought last year

:facepalm

Are we gonna act like Dirk hasn't played with the same number of coaches as LeBron?

LeBron doesn't have enough support. Has to raid Kobe's immense stockpiles of help.
