I miss Ariza from time to time, but having Pierce on the squad is much more beneficial. Every play he went to wall or beal and gave words of encouragement. He helped them stay poised.

Dragic is good but you can't dealt your only 7 footer who score in the paint and is looking to have a bright future for a PG who most likely will not handle that ball a lot because of Harden. You gain nothing.

Did you see that ball movement with Dmo, Brewer from the bench. With just need to fix that spacing in the starting line up. Get Dragic in the off-season

Dorsey gets his share of bad rep but tonight he really inspired that second unit with his hustle and offensive rebounding.Dwight on the other hand wen e started ISO him in the post looked terrible and stagnated the offense to a point where it looked like no one was happy.That is when the turnovers flowed and they feasted on us.


Harden busted his rear end all night and really tried to pull off the miracle and almost did. Harden, Brewer, Dorsey, Bev and Dmo tried but the Wizards deserved their win because of that great run in the 3rd.We play well when Harden is going downhill and is hitting the corner three guys with the wrap around passes or attacking the bucket.

Hopefully Dwight understands that if he plays off the pick and roll especially against the bigger frontlines like tonight he has a better chance of getting better shots then posting them up. It did not work against Gasol and it did not work tonight either. Overall despite the loss, take out that 3rd quarter and correct a few things, we looked ok.

Still need a legit 3rd option but it is a long season. Not a sprint.

The main issue was in the 3rd where we tried to post Dwight and he could not bully gortart and the rest went down the toilet. Smith and Dwight if they want to be successful need to play off the pick and roll with Harden. They need to set the screen and dive so he can find them close to the bucket with the lob pass or the bounce or get close to the hoop for the wrap around.

Asking them to creat a shot for themselves especially against those two in Nene and Gortart off the dribble Is asking for disaster and McHale needs to tell them that.

What's crazy is that the Wiz are still trying to figure out how to use Beal effectively. Tonight was a great example of what he can do when they really unleash his shooting. To put it bluntly...we need to run less actions that are most likely going to end with Beal shooting a midrange J. I don't think Randy W is comfortable having Beal put up 6-8 3's a night like he probably should be. Randy is old school and I think he doesn't like jacking up too many 3's, but that's what works these days

That has been a problem ever since Smith left Atlanta. He played next to Horford who is a good midrange shooter so they were able to have decent spacing. But when he plays next to a center who can't shoot spacing will be a major issue.
