No, it did not fail, it worked, Evans had a WIDE OPEN dunk. He missed it, he sucks, but the plan worked for that play.

Cousins was supposed to check in.

And Evans shouldn't have missed the dunk.

Cherry picking can work if the other team is always on the fast break, where you can grab the rebound off of their quick shooting and get the easy bucket. In today's half court offense this has zero chance of working on any given possession.
