Question about reselling tickets

Hey ISH,

Me and a couple of friends threw in on tickets for a game. I paid for all three tickets, and one of my friends paid me for his instantly, and the other friend apparently is dodging me because he owes me the money. Long story short, it appears I bought one ticket too many. I bought them from StubHub.

What would you guys do in this situation? What's the best way to resell that one ticket? It's a great seat for a great game. Should I go back to StubHub and try to resell them there, or is there a better option? It's an expensive ticket, so I can't afford to just let it slide. The game is in about 3 weeks, so time is running low :(

I would resell them on StubHub and try to get that money back.

I'm guessing you're going to the Lakers/Cavs or Clippers/Cavs on the 15th/16th?

Your friend is a f*cking flake. I would offer it to someone close to him for free, or if there's a girl he likes, offer it to her for free. then just shun the dude, he's not worth it.

If the game is in three weeks, it's too early to sell. Have you asked directly for the money? It would be pretty weak to sell it behind his back.

I have fronted for concert tickets quite often and often gotten paid back on the night of the event.

If the game is a hot game, one week is enough unload the ticket.
