Seriously. Throw Kanter on the bench where he belongs.

Make this guy the starting C, give him 30+ MPG, and he's a 15/15/5 threat every night. Guaranteed.

Until Favors shows he can guard the perimeter and stretch the floor he's the one to bench or trade in the off-season. Should at least be a 3 man big man rotation until they figure it out. They certainly need to build around Rudy. They are a different team with him on the floor. But again the Jazz aren't looking to win. That's the dilemma for a tanking team.

Burke looks like he's a bench player at best. Burks and Hayward don't appear to be the best combo either. Gobert is the man though.

It's not much to go by, but saw this guy during Summer League and he was a monster then too. Again it was our SL squad with 2.5 NBA level players..but the dude demolished us defensively.

Would kill to have him on the Bucks..him and Giannis would be an absolute terror defensively..but at least the Jazz aren't screwing it up, they got a lot of good pieces around him.

They got him for almost nothing and he's going to be a huge steal. I don't think Favors can reasonably guard 5s and with that extension kicking in next year, I'm not sure if Favors/Gobert is a good offensive combo going forward. Depending on what happens during draft/FA, I wonder if they'd be open to moving Favors. Kanter is a nice piece off the bench since he can score and is too bad defensively to be a long term starter imo.

Gobert definitely has the tools to have a Tyson Chandler type impact on the game (already showing rim protection impact). Needs to work on getting stronger since he can't power over more physical guys yet, but he should be Utah's long-term starting C.
