00's squad takes the 90's Team to the rape shed. But it's close imo.

That 00's Team just looks better.

Move GP to the 90s, and take off Thomas (80s)
Change Tim to Anfernee
Add Chris Webber to the 2000s.
Remove Nique for Grant Hill.

I thought about moving GP to the 90s and taking Thomas off for that reason and Chris Webber < Dirk,Duncan,Garnett and Grant Hill had injuries he played in 90s and 00s so i didnt add him

but i fix it up a little

Yao needs to be backup center for the 00s.

Hill got injured in 2000, so he's fine for a 90s addition. Nique (and Zeke) did most of their damage in the 80s.

GP same, he was at his best in the 90s.

I thought about Yao but i was making a 12 man roster, i removed him to add some players. I was just trying to put the best players from the 00;s and its hard to leave some off

Yao looked pretty well on his way to one until he got injured in 2009. Wallace wouldn't be a bad choice though.

I'd take Vince off to give the team a true backup center.

Yao would get toasted by Ewing and Robinson and Hakeem. Duncan and KG and Webber would do much better. Wallace would be better also.

Shaq won his championships in the 2000s, but I can't imagine going back in time to 1999 and saying, "Shaq is not a 90s player." There's just no way that you cannot put Shaq in the 90s squad. It's just ridiculous to think when he was there for practically the whole decade. His youth.

I would have LeBron in that 00s team instead of TMac. Come to think of it, I will go without any point guard and let LeBron be de facto point guard and have Paul Pierce in the starting five.

LeBron - Kobe - Pierce - Timmy - Shaq with a bench of Kidd, Wade, Dirk, KG and Ray Allen as rotation is extremely tasty. LeBron being a PG would be a match-up problem for the 90s team as well. But, I would still go for the 90s squad. Its too strong and at the same time very balanced.

Peak Hill > end of prime Nique, no?

Or I would switch up Hardaway with Hill. That entire starting five are basically point-whatever of their positions. I don't think another PG is necessary. Would also genuinely consider Rodman, tho not sure for whom.

Kind of feel like you would want Wade on 00s. His peak (09) is so good. Maybe even Dwight over Webber. I think I would rather have his size and defense to matchup with the 90s' physical bigs.

Shaq and Webber could easily be argued as 90's players. If Hill and Penny are 90's, so are Shaq and Webber.

I don't think you need that many go to offensive options on a team. I don't think teams like that work. Put Rodman at the 4 for the extra rebounding, defense and toughness. I'd also be tempted to put Payton at PG, just to see:

Payton
Jordan
Pippen
Rodman
Olajuwon

That team is letting 60-70 points.

All of this players played in the 90s, but not all of them played in the 00s.
Shaq and Webber are more of a 90s players, than 00s. I mean they have most of their prime seasons in 90s. Jason Kidd also. If not for HIV Magic could play well into the 90s. He is at the same age as Dominique.
I could add Lebron, Wade definitely in 00s team.

Shaq and Webber could easily be argued as 90's players. If Hill and Penny are 90's, so are Shaq and Webber.

Webber is more of a 90s player if you consider that the majority of his better years were in that decade. Shaq could be argued either way, his greatest accomplishments were between 2000-2002, his peak, but he had 7 great 90s seasons versus how many 00's? 4-5? He faded after 2006, and basically started slipping after 2004 or so compared to 2000 level.

i'd like to add the last version we saw of Magic in 1990, 1991, and the 1992 ASG, onto the 90's team.

Magic Johnson / Gary Payton / Penny Hardaway / John Stockton
Michael Jordan / Clyde Drexler / Reggie Miller
Scottie Pippen / Dominique Wilkins / Grant Hill
Charles Barkely / Karl Malone / Derrick Coleman / Shawn Kemp / Vin Baker
Hakeem Olajuwon / Shaquille O'Neal / David Robinson

I'll take this team over any... and I'll take the 98' Vin Baker over Webber - the 00's can have Webber - they can use the help on the post.

and Coleman is the 3rd most gifted PF of the 90's, behind Barkely and Kemp.

Make KG the starting 4 and make TD the backing C. I'd consider bringing Yao in too if you want to extend the roster. Put in Ray Allen in place of AI or Vince for a more reliable outside threat.

Goes either way. It comes down to chemistry.

Webber makes 4 of his 5 all star teams in the 90s.
also 4 of his 5 all nba teams
his teams went deeper in the 2000s than the 90s

90's was a weak era.

Those guys played 20 years ago. The game has changed dramatically since then, and players like Swaggy and Linsanity would just castrate those dinosaurs.
