Um, no.

I wanted to play in the NBA but never even played in HS.

I'm a big time loser.

I wanted to work in government.

I do that now.

Took 10 years longer than I wanted it to, but mission accomplished all the same.

The only goal I never reached was making it as a drummer, but given the current state of the music industry...I'm okay with that.

in what type of capacity? that seems like a very strange/vague goal as a kid, unless you meant you wanted to be a CIA/spy or something

Professional basketball player? No
Professional skateboarder? No
Music Producer? No

I didn't become any though do to lack of sustained interest/motivation. My interests are always changing I'm glad in a way I don't make hobbies a career... I'm just not really a career guy. I like different things at different times and like learning about new things not mastering one thing.

Yes I wanted to be a doctor and to live in Australia.

I am now doing both.

But other than that my life is a ****ing joke.

my career goal of being discovered by a talent agency?

like... you know... sitting at a table, and someone approaches me and say "listen, I think you appear to be someone special, here, these are some opportunities I'd like for you to try out"

Was it your dream to post on an NBA message board, or would any board suffice?

I never thought it would be a career. I didn't have a goal; I used to wonder what I would do, but then...

lol also, I think everyone wanted to be in the NBA at one time. I didn't want that to be my legacy tho, I just wanted to do it. You know... do some other shit, then play in the NBA for awhile... win some rings, move on to something else.

heh, movies really **** up a lot of expectations for people. That shit, I dunno if it ever happens like that. Nor is there ever someone who just pushes you to succeed and never gives up on you. Not that I've seen. There is no Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting. sadface.
