His dunks and great man to man defense are definitely a joy to watch, but him launching contested 24 footers and long 2s while missing most of them was boring, I can watch any other chucker do that.

If he improved his handle on the ball and took better shots he could easily be a 25 PPG 45-48% FG kind of guy on great defense, which would put him in that top tier of superstars. A smarter shot selection and a couple minor tweaks and the kid is capable of being a top 5 player in the league.

He's one of the most aesthetically pleasing players to watch in the NBA. Other posters have said this...Here's his offensive highlights from last season including playoffs....He's still inconsistent though.....

He played like a 6'10 Pippen with better shooting and less length on D .

The problem is the rest of the Pacers team isn't quite good to watch.

He would be alot more fun if he was on an athletic team that liked to run

Definitely..I've been begging for us to play uptempo but I guess we can't cause of West and Hibbert.....

I think he's actually quite boring to watch. He has a poor handle, shoots a ton of jumpers and his dunks aren't aesthetic. Flailing legs etc. He does play suffocating D though, and maybe its because in general the Pacers are boring

Flailing legs is what makes dunks more aesthetically pleasing. :biggums:

Are you saying Kobe, Kemp, Jason Richardson, Wade, etc didn't have aesthetically pleasing dunks?

He does shoot too many jumpers for my liking...As athletic as he his, he should go to the rim a lot more....I'm guessing the stronger he gets, the more he'll drive because he started doing it more last year but I'd like him to do it more.....

I think his dunks are nice, especially a few of his facials, mainly the one in my avatar....But the one on Larry Sanders and Glen Davis come to mind....

But he has everything in his arsenal, he has step backs, his handles are nice on a good day, on a bad day he's very prone to losing the ball but his handle has improved a ton since his rookie year....He still plays a bit too lax for my tastes until the 2nd half comes...

His game reminded me of a middle ground between Kobe and Lebron

Rather boring, would have been way more entertaining if he was on on a different team

Except he actually did that in more than a few games.......Not saying he's Lebron but he's definitely carried us through some playoff games...

He was alright, but benefitted from a weak conference and in an era where there weren't many who can matchup with his size and length on the perimeter. He would probably be a slightly better offensively Tony Allen now.
