This is on a whole new level. Kobe would be impressed.

So does Lebron and several other players. :confusedshrug:
Kobe's work ethic, much like his supposed clutch shooting, is a myth created by his die hard stans. Not saying Kobe doesn't work hard, but anyone who honestly thinks he works harder than any player in the NBA is very gullible.

Ever since Phil Jackson assumed control of the New York Knicks front office this past March, one question above all has dogged Carmelo Anthony: How would his triangle stint stack up against those of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant?
Anthony will never be considered in the same class as the other two, of course. The implication has long been that, in the pantheon of Jackson cornerstones, the order is as follows: Jordan, Bryant and...an enormous drop-off.
But, according to Jackson, Kobe has MJ beat in at least one important respect: dedication to training.
Asked by the New York Post’s Steve Serby whether Anthony might live up to the triangle precedents set by his Hall of Fame brethren, Jackson responded thusly:
"No. No one can approach that. I don’t expect anybody to be able to model their behavior after that, although Kobe modeled his behavior a lot about Michael Jordan, but he went beyond Michael in his attitude towards training, and I know Mike would probably question me saying that, but he did."
Kobe sleeps 4 hours a night and is obsessive with his shooting and training routine.
Work ethic has never been Kobe problem. His issue is stubbornness and an inability to adapt to a different way of playing.

lol
After the Charmin debacle an anonymous teammate of Kobe's was asked how many times he has seen Kobe at practice this season. Kobe's teammate answered that the number of practices Kobe has participated in this year can be counted on one hand. :confusedshrug:

Ive always believed kobe was nuts with training obviously from other players and coaches talking about it. I've never understood why kobe misses so many team practices, Kobe is obviously very stubborn and even in Phil Jacksons book about the 2004 season he often mentions kobe just shooting free throws on his own
i'd love to be able to see which players practice a lot with the whole team and which sit out a lot

Why would you even compare the two and there work ethics at this point in their careers?
Kobe has a far more physical game the Kyle and lots more wear and tear. Kyle just runs around the perimeter and has done so his whole career. Dumb thread

Crazy. All that training and still not as good as some players.
Another example of Kobe doing less with more. His career story I guess.

The thread belonged in the Hawk forum. So, to try to make it "relevant" for the main forum, he somehow shoe-horned Kobe's name into the thread title for some stupid reason. Then a bunch of stupid shit followed.
Bad thread, bad poster; PS the Hawks suck.

The original article title was waaaay more awesome than OP's idiotic, unnecessary mention of Kobe.
