Its arguable that Clevelend wasn't going to surpass Toronto/Washington anyway, but its likely they won't now. Its a fourth seed race for them and Atlanta. Tragic because its sets up a scenario where Love and Kyrie might not get much playoff experience. Homecourt would do a lot for their confidence but they might not get to experience much of that. While I think they are better than Atlanta, the Hawks play very good team ball, adjust well at half time, and very hard to prepare for, which will drain a new coach and have the players over thinking.

I know its early but they're likely to be down 10 14 games come Feb. and kind of mandates a big losing streak for Toronto, Washington, Bulls to make up that distance. That's huge, and before I discount Atlanta, they are building and gaining confidence every game. One team is likely to fall off and I picked Atl because their strengths aren't easy visible despite they have experience and who knows how good they can become. The last thing they want is the first round to be chore.

Who are the teams you think might fall off? What seeding do you like for Cleveland?

Cavs Bulls first round. 1-8 seeds.

As an outsider, I'm not sure, but I just want to see LeBron and Love functioning together offensively by the end of the year. It's crazy that Kyrie has been their most adaptable/portable player so far.

I think Chicago is going to grab the top seed (and IMO will make the Finals), no clue where Cleveland will end up.

The Cavs will be lucky to make it 6 games in the 2nd round.

I wouldn't be shocked to see the Heat beat them in the playoffs.

Ideally I'd want the Cavs #3 so the Bucks can smack them around and send them home in the 1st round. Giannis would rape Lebron in a playoff series.

Seriously, how ****ing awesome a story would it be if a team that won 15 games last year and was widely predicted to suck ass again this year, takes out a team that was supposed to be a finals favorites and a dynasty in the making with Lebron, Kyrie, Love?

For me.

Chicago the 1-2 seed.
Toronto the 1-3 seed
Washington the 2-3 seed
Atlanta the 3-4 seed
Cleveland the 4-5 seed

I don't see much deviation. I would love to see good team ball from all the competing teams. The current top four all play good team ball - even Milwaukee in the six spot has been a surprise as well. The top four currently all play good team ball.

d) Cleveland doesn't deserve a CHIP

I want to see Derrick demolish the two other best PGs in his conference. Rose should sodomize, and prove his dominance over both Kyrie, and Wall.

East:

Kyrie out? LeBron out?

No problem, still have a good shot at home court in the 1st round.

West:

Durant out? Westbrook out?

OKC in serious danger of missing the playoffs.

Our next matchup should show you why you guys got us at the right time.

We were coming off a back to back and lacked energy.

While I think Atlanta is a good team and well coached, I think we have more game winning weapons to win a series against you guys.

After the years of taunting and mocking from the Bron fans, I want to see the bulls pulverize cavs/lebron and make him cry.

Either that or the Miami heat take them out and embarrass them :lol

I probably don't dislike wall like you, however it would be fun to watch a bulls v wiz series. Very competitive and full of spice :pimp:

MJ was too in the day...:confusedshrug:

He told me a little about himself when he dedicated a game to a girl he knew dying of cancer just prior to the game. Teared up after the game and was really sincere in the interview.

I like his game though, he's definitely not a d.ckhead like lebron man.

The best the Cavs can realistically hope for is the 5th seed, unless one of the teams above them also has major injury issues.

That said, a 5th seed is not necessarily that bad. If the Cavs are healthy, and they improve their team play, they could still beat whoever is the 4th seed. Beating the #1 seed in the 2nd round would be tough obviously, but not impossible.

He really wasn't. Dont confuse confidence in his abilities for outwardly displays of arrogance. Jordan in many respects was actually humble. Why the masses found him so likable. He had charisma, confidence, but he wasn't cocky. Especially earlier in his career. When MJ had outward displays of swagger, at least it felt earned. None of it was self promoting or obnoxious. With Wall? It doesn't feel earned.

Bucks frontcourt of Sanders/Henson/Giannis/Zaza/Ersan would take a giant shit all over the Cavs front court.

So you predict that the Heat and Cavs will at least both beat their first round opponent (CHI, ATL, TOR, WAS) away from home, cause neither will finish top 4.

Even then there is a 50/50 chance they won

Cavs going to finish 5th, as they finish 2nd in their division behind the Bulls.

They are already 4.5 games behind Chicago and Bran's out for 2 weeks + they got a West Coast trip coming up, they are 7-7 on the road.

Bran's probably resting to gear up for a big run to end the season, but if the Bulls are healthy, they are not going to catch them.

I would seriously laugh my ass off if Lebron manages to beat the Bulls in 5 again. But I can see the Cavs finishing around 4th unless something huge happens and this team does a complete 180 and turn things around. Doubt that would happen though

I know most of the posts on this thread are just troll posts from people who hate LeBron but let's be real...

Lebron is an all-time great not because of his regular season success, but because of his unbelievable performances in the playoffs.

I know most of ISH is young, but do people forget his game 5 against the Pistons in 2007, when he scored a NBA record 25 points IN A ROW (yes, wilt and mj never did this) to beat a mini-dynasty by himself? That, along with Kobe's 81 and Wade's game 3 in 2006 are the 3 best NBA performances of the millennium.

If LeBron wants to take over he will, and the cavs could very well get to the finals as a 3-6 seed

You are very hurt by that embarrassing loss last year where wall played like butt and the bullets still crushed em

Bulls didn't even have fight it was sad. Hopefully the bullets don't face them this year, I'd like a competitive series to watch

I wasn't mad at all.

If you go back and check my posts I complimented the Wizards. Actually, I predicted Washington would beat them before the series even began. Especially given all the injuries to our guy. I'm just not a fan of Wall's un-earned cockiness. Him and Beal proclaiming their these best guard tandem in the league with words instead of proving it.

Wait you don't think a series between the two would be competitive this year? When Noah isn't hurt, and we have all our best players back on the court?

The Bulls just beat them on their home court a week ago, with Derrick Rose coasting on minutes restriction for much of the game. They have virtually the same record right now too ...

Man I honestly don't know, Henson was disappointing for a chunk of this season but he's really been impressing in recent games. It's like he's finally putting it all together mentally and physically..quicker contests, smarter decisions, unselfish passes..making his presence felt in the paint, using his size/length and not getting bullied like he used to regularly. Don't know what happened but he looks more refined as a player. I'd definitely want to keep him, he's not a star or anything but he's a high quality starter down the road imo.

His game ?

Well, it depends. He carries a workload that he's not really able to fulfill. He could be a better 2nd or 3rd option. When he plays within himself Iin a team concept, the team follows. I've read certain Raptor fans call him "The Example" because his game dictates (most of the time) how the rest of the team plays. If he's slashing and kicking out to the shooters, it opens up so much of scoring options. When it sticks to his hands and he tries to force the issue, it often time leads to a loss.

When he comes back, he needs to realize this team doesn't need him taking too many shots and understand that team is deep enough and be as good as anyone when they play together.

On weather he comes back from injury, it should be after their current road trip. Groin injuries shouldn't be rushed.

If and only if Cavs get a decent rim protector or somehow they catch fire they can get to 2nd seed (Healthy Bulls are 1 by defect)

Most probable outcome they will be 4th or 5th (Healthy Bulls win in a well fought ECSF series)
